Today, I went to this shop to pick up my order, and the owner told me to wait 5 minutes. When the time was up, he asked me if I was driving a car or a motorcycle. I was clearly wearing a helmet, and before I could even answer, he told me to leave. I asked why, but he still insisted I leave. I couldn't stand being treated like that, so I started cursing at him. He immediately took out his phone to record me, and almost called the police! 😂 The pizza shop wasn't very big, so you can imagine how calm the other customers were! 😆

Benny’s Best Pizza in Queens has always been known for solid food, but service consistency has become a problem. Their two-slice and soda deal for $9 usually hits the spot, and the marinara sauce is flavorful with a good balance of tangy and savory. The chicken penne vodka is also good when prepared correctly — the sauce is flavorful and pairs well with the penne.
However, I’ve learned to check orders carefully before leaving. The last time I ordered the chicken penne vodka, I received plain penne with chicken, no vodka sauce, and poorly prepared broccoli ends instead with no chicken and no vodka sauce. That experience, combined with an overload of pizza and pasta, stopped me from coming back for a long time.
I recently decided to give this place another chance, and unfortunately, this visit turned into my second negative service experience. I was repeatedly talked over, delayed from paying, and treated with unnecessary attitude. What should have been a quick transaction became uncomfortable and stressful for no reason.
One staff member, who said his name was “Georgie Porgie,” was especially unprofessional. I had never encountered him before. Instead of simply completing the order, he made comments, joked, and antagonized the situation in front of other customers.
The owner’s father was present and ultimately stepped in, saying “just let her go, her pizza is here,” which speaks volumes. A customer should never be treated as a nuisance simply for trying to pay and leave.
While the food can be good when done right, customer service matters. This was the worst experience I’ve had at this location, and it’s disappointing enough that I won’t be returning.

Pizza sucks, service sucks, workers are very rude and the owner does not care about his customers. Told me to come back to fight at 9pm after work which I will demonstrate what happens with my registered hands to people who think they are big. Your a pizza worker at 40 years old. Let that sink in.

My son was a customer at Bennys for at least 30 years and today he brought me an order of his pasta with meat sauce. I could live off that for the rest of my life and I probably will. Glad you deliver!
Been coming to Bennys for over a year now going into 2 , they’ve never dropped the ball on quality once. This location truly delivers on New York style pizza , every bite taste like home & that’s what keeps me coming back. Definitely recommend trying vodka squares or slices !

I love coming to this pizzeria! Pizzas are delicious and taste amazing with just the right amount of everything and a thin crispy crust! The staff is very friendly and helpful and treat u like family, Benny Jr always hooks us up with some Zeppoles when we buy pizza pies n stuff & the environment is always clean and spacious enough to enjoy a meal there. Ever since my girlfriend and I came here we cant stop coming back! There's no other pizzeria that compares once u try it! They also have a large selections of other Calzones and specialty pizzas, also the first pizza shop I seen with a saladmenu! There's so many different things they have here that u just have to check out the menu yourself! I also wanted to add that its one of the few pizza shops with parmesan cheese toppings here and the pizza hot sauce here is delicious and has one of a kind taste you cant find in majority of pizza shops around. I highly recommend u try it yourself and you'll see why we can't stop coming back lol!

Ive been coming to Bennys since High school. I moved away from Queens and forgot about this place. Me and my boyfriend recently came back because I remembered how delicious it was and I can truly say that the pizza has gotten BETTER !! I feel like so many shops lose that authentic nyc slice but this place has always had it and NEVER LOST IT LOL !! No kidding we come here AT LEAST once a week. We no longer look for pizza any where else lol the atmosphere is amazing. The worker at the front Benny Jr ll is great, remembers us, always greets us and always knows what we want. He has given us complimentary zeppoles it makes us feel appreciated. Im fully convinced he even recognizes my voice when we call in and order LOL! Employees/owners recognizing their customers gives it such an even more spectacular experience. Thank you guys so much. We love the food. We love the employees. We love the atmosphere. If youre deciding where to get pizza LOOK NO FURTHER!! Every single thing we have ordered from here has never disappointed. Try the hot sauce on your pizza idk if its homemade but that sauce???? Something we have never tried before🔥🔥 my bf never looked at another pizza shop again. We are hooked! 😅
