The best plain slice pizza ive had in nyc in my past 18 years, cheese was 10/10
The reality is that the owner is so rude. My mom and I went there to order the deal (two slices of pizza and a bottle of soda for $9). When we entered, the cashier didn’t even know about the deal, so my mom repeated it. After that, I went to get the soda, but they didn’t have original Coca-Cola. So my mom said, "Okay, so the deal is $9, right? The two slices cost $6.50, so charge me $9.50, and I'll get two cans of soda that cost $1.50 each." The cashier agreed, so I went to get the two cans of soda. But then the owner, an old man, started screaming and said that we had to pay $10. My mom explained that we weren’t getting the food separately—it was part of the deal. She said, "The deal includes a bottle of soda for $2.50. Since you don’t have the bottle, we’re getting two cans instead, which costs $3. So we should pay $9.50.” The owner didn’t understand and started yelling at us, saying rude things. My mom calmly explained the math again: "The pizza costs $6.50, and the two cans cost $3, so we'll pay $9.50." The owner continued to scream and told us that if we didn’t want to pay, he didn’t care. My mom calmly replied, “Just charge me what you said, but let us eat in peace.” He grabbed her card and charged her $8.72. My mom didn’t say anything. As we started eating, he came out of the blue and said it was our fault that nobody would get the deal, and because of us, he was canceling the deal. My mom calmly said to let us eat. Anyway, the pizza was disgusting and tasted like it had been stored for days. In the end, we gave up one of the sodas and only took one can. I don’t recommend this place for pizza. You wouldn’t like it; there are better places to eat pizza.

Stopped in here with my husband on a whim... as soon as we opened the door, I knew we were in the right spot! The pizza was awesome, the guys behind the counter were friendly and lively, and the chicken roll!!! I haven't had a chicken roll that good in years! Their sauce is phenomenal. We left stuffed and looking forward to our next appointment that brings us to the neighborhood.

I've been a loyal patron of Benny's Pizza since I was 10 years old, and as I approach 22, my appreciation only grows. Over the years, I've savored everything from their shrimp parmigiana and baked ziti to their barbecue chicken pizza, spinach pizza, chicken Marsala, delightful Margherita pizza, tasty linguine Alfredo and, of course, their mouth watering empanadas—not to mention their salads. No matter where I am, even outside the borough, I always recommend this pizzeria. My visits vary—I find myself here either once a month or three times within a single week. A heartfelt thank you to Benny's Pizza for all the wonderful meals over the years!

I stopped by Benny's Pizza hoping to grab a good slice. There was plenty of seating available but I ordered takeout. I ordered a Veggie and Caesar Salad pizza. Both slices were good but could've been a bit more flavorful. To my surprise this pizza shop also had empanadas. I opted for Chicken Empanadas which were well made and hit the spot! I also ordered Zeppoles which seem elusive, especially in this area, and they were the perfect little bites. I would revisit.
