I stopped by Benny's Pizza hoping to grab a good slice. There was plenty of seating available but I ordered takeout. I ordered a Veggie and Caesar Salad pizza. Both slices were good but could've been a bit more flavorful. To my surprise this pizza shop also had empanadas. I opted for Chicken Empanadas which were well made and hit the spot! I also ordered Zeppoles which seem elusive, especially in this area, and they were the perfect little bites. I would revisit.

This is one of the few authentic places left. Pizza was very oily but they had a vast variety and the service was fast. I would check them again. I thought $5.50 was pricey for a pepperoni slice, in Queens.
I called maybe 10 mins after 8 asking for a grandma. The guy who answered was super nice and let me know that they wouldn’t be able to do a grandma (I’m guessing because of the time. It was close to closing) BUT they can instead do a margarita pizza. I agreed and was told it’ll be ready in 20. When i came and got it, it was ready and they were just as nice in person. I got home and as SOOOOON as I opened the box I smelled the pizza. It smelled delicious. First bite— I was in heaven. I don’t remember the last time I had great pizza like this. It was packed with flavor. I’m new to the neighborhood and will definitely be returning. Great service and great food!
