The turkey sandwich was good. Watch out for the up sell. Ever topping besides turkey is an extra charge. On New Year's Day I was the only customer in the place and cashier 2 was very rude, curt and impatient. He treated me like I should know what bread and toppings were available, spoke quickly and acted like there was a line behind me and he had to hurry. Skip it and get a pizza across the way or go to au bon pain start gate 33. Cheers!

Friendliest service I've yet experienced in the USA by the manager of this deli. The food which we ordered was cooked fresh. Very reasonably priced. We didn't have to wait long.

Good sandwiches great taste and the wait is reasonable. I do not like the extra charges for tomatoes lettuce etc. corned beef is tasty and truly well done. Pastrami is moist and superb usually.

Wish I had read the reviews before buying my sandwich. I added avocado to my turkey and that was the worst because I'm not sure wgat that was...my stomach hurt so bad after. Avoid this place at all costs, should have spent my $14 elsewhere.

Too bad I didn't take a picture of my 11 dollar piece of bread with scraps of food on it before I ate it. Asked for a sandwich with Brussels sprout, sautéed mushrooms and goat cheese on it and got a roll with a smudge of goat cheese, one mushroom, and one leaf of Brussels sprouts. I asked for more and they guy gave me a handful of cold Brussel sprouts. I've never felt compelled to write a bad review until today. I get you gotta turn out sandwiches quick but my god that was awful.

A rarity - service with love I’ve been in NY for a whirlwhind business trip and needed a quick breakfast before my flight out. After surveying the choices in terminal 8 - chose the deli as they had fresh breakfast options. When I walked in the staff and manager were so nice and welcoming - helping me with my selection. It’s rare people give so much love and take pride in their work like this. I felt energised and ready for my trip. This is pay it forward at it best.

Not a recommendable place. Owner and cashier are TOO WELCOMING ( I didn't know I'd ever say that) but it's almost like you get this gut feeling that something is wrong. Told me everything is freshly made And homemade yadayadayada. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant with a small coffee. Got two old pieces of bacon that tasted like old beef jerky that's dry as hell. By the time you are reading this...... it's too late..... but I feel your pain SMH

Great Ruben, nice staff. Would have been 5 stars if not for the entire display of soda being warm and mopping the floors in the middle of a lunch rush. Even if someone spilled something, wipe up the isolated spill with a few rags vs shutting the place down and blocking the entrance with a sign....not good for $$$ either.

I'm not one to write yelp reviews, but I had to rate Brooklyn deli! My friend and I just had the best and most unexpectedly great experience here. The customer service was amazing. Three people greeted us, asked us how we were, helped us order, etc. they were so nice. the Starbucks nearby had just yelled at us five minutes prior and we are used to subpar treatment in airports and unfriendly employees. Brooklyn deli was such a surprise and we can't say enough good things. Thanks for being so nice!!!! It totally shocked us. Also- the food is great, so many options, all made fresh.

This place is terrible, they overcharged me on my order and then when I called the woman out on it she did not care and claimed that's what the computer says. She then referred me to a page on the register to complain and nobody picks up that line (718) 553-2014 If I do not hear anything back from them in 24hrs I will do a charge back.

Old ham that tasted slimy. If you want lettuce or anything on it they charge you. Shredded lettuce will be .80 old tomato $1.40.. The $10 sandwich will run you $16-17. If you want fries that will be $4.95 for about 10 cold fries. Eat somewhere else.

At 5:30am this place rocks! Manager was Sooooo nice and made everyone feel welcome. Employees were smiling too! I live in NYC and this was a real treat! Forget the line at DD and go to Brooklyn Deli Treminal 8!!

Idk about this friendly inviting service. I walked in to ask for a straw the lady told me no because I didn't buy anything. I get it if I was asking for condiments or something major. All I wanted was a simple straw. Very rude and inviting.

Food....mediocre overpriced airport slop. As others have said, using the name "Deli" in NY was a bad choice by ownership. But in all honesty, if you are starving in this terminal...sadly, it's probably your best bet.
