I was lucky to find a place in the cramped Terminal 7 with few decent food options — they actually have a real fire oven and make pizza right in front of you. Freshly baked pizza can’t possibly taste bad. The only downside is that you have to wait about 20 minutes, and most travelers seem unhappy about that since they don’t have much time. But it’s definitely much better than the pre-baked slices sitting in the display case

The pizza was okay, it only took like 10mins and the service was alright. Definitely nowhere near as bad as you’d expect given the reviews on here

The service is horrible. I went to tell them that the sandwiches weren't showing on the screen to place my order, and they were completely rude to me. I waited more than the 20 minutes indicated on the sign to receive a cold, burnt, and unfilled pizza. The place was empty, but it still took a long time! I don't recommend this place to anyone. I paid a lot for bad food and terrible service! If you're traveling through Terminal 7, bring your own food.

If I could give it a 0 stars I would. Terrible service. Waiting 40 minutes. Went up to counter twice to see if it was ready. Second time it was just sitting there. Was ready 5 minutes, so starting to go cold. I was sitting right beside counter so I could hear her call numbers. She whispered the numbers. $24.67 including tax for something I wouldn't feed to the dog. Avoid this place. I wish I had
AVOID THIS PLACE!
We waited for half an hour and still not got our pizza. No one was before us. We wasted our money, have to give up to catch our flight

Most uneducated and rude customer service ever encountered in NYC.
The local is clearly understaffed, but there’s no reason to be this rude to the customers.

This is not the way to run an airport food establishment. It is a mix of a convenience store, a pizza restaurant and and sushi bar. To be honest the food looks pretty good. However, in a cost saving measure (that wasn’t passed on to the customers, the prices are extreme even by JFK standards) they have forgone the staff that take orders. This leaves customers to order on the machines, it is not clear when using the machines which items are self serve and which are made to order. The made to order items can take 20-40 minutes to be made. The poor single staff member in charge of making the food is being inundated with people calling “excuse me when will my food be ready, I need to catch my flight”.
As I said food looks good, prices are horrendous, the wait for food it too variable and long when everybody has a flight to catch
Ordering was fine. Pizza arrived within about 15 minutes. They were freshly cooked and ok. 3 stars.
The Margherita pizza at the airport was decent, but it’s definitely one of the better options at Terminal 7 JFK. If you’re craving something hot and quick, Brooklyn Rebel is the place to go. The dough is soft, and the sauce is on the sweeter side, but the mozzarella was pretty good. I’d definitely eat it again if we return.

There are very limited food options in terminal 7. This is one of the better ones providing a variety of different pizzas. On a positive note? They are made freshly in front of you and you can see nothing is microwaved or reheated.
On a negative, they don't have much in the way of staff and you'll be looking at least a half hour to get your food out, which is something to seriously keep in mind if you are waiting for a flight.
If you have the time it is one of your best options. Otherwise? Better off to grab some pre-made food nearby.

$30 for a lousy Cesar chicken salad and a yogurt parfait. Selling three times higher than outside price. I understand airport food could be costlier but $15 for a small egg salad sandwich. If you have the option of getting food from outside, please do and save yourself a lot of money and also better food.
