I've been going to Carmine's for years. At one point we thought the were closed and it was so heartbreaking. To be driving by and see them in full swing I found a parking spot and ordered my regular. French toast, grits,eggs and bacon.

These people are very rude when picking up the phone especially the daughters of the owner. it’s a family business. The minute you try to correct their rude unprofessionalism .. they do not want to serve you anymore. How do you pick and choose when you want to serve to the public ? & it’s due to the nasty behavior that they don’t want no one to correct. I’ve been buying from here for 10 years. Spent a lot of money with them. The minute I corrected or responded to the nasty remarks they make they don’t want to serve me. THIS COULD BE ANYONE WHO CHOOSE TO ADDRESS CONFLICT. They also sometimes over charge. There was a time before a few years back they kept getting my ice coffee wrong and when I spoke on it they said I don’t have to buy from their store. I’m okay with not going to them anymore because they are very careless anyway when they speak to me.

Unassuming but great little diner. The gentleman who we ordered from was very friendly, and the portions were good! We got the breakfast special #2 and an order of french toast. This isn't fine dining or anything but I enjoyed the atmosphere. Made us feel like locals!
