Always a line to get on the list... once on the list LONG, LONG waits. It's especially disappointing when you pay as much as you do for for the Chase Sapphire card. 😤

Food was fantastic. Beautiful lounge with friendly staff. Was a bummer I had to wait a while to get in but I had several fantastic martinis.

Would’ve been five stars if it wasn’t for the wait.

Travel can be exhausting. You can wait in a security line for an hour, repack your bag, re-tie shoes, then walk a mile before finally getting a rest. That's where the Chase Sapphire Lounge at JFK comes in. A shining beacon of relief RIGHT AFTER SECURITY. There's no better way to reclaim your travel excitement than a full refresh at the Sapphire Lounge. Paired with Etihad, the staff, food, drinks, and and amenities are a full tier above the other lounges. The card may carry a decent annual fee, but knowing this experience awaits each trip through security makes it all worth it. Much of this may be due to the stellar venue management from MIMOSA, but we leave every time with renewed excitement for the flight ahead. Thanks, Mimosa!

The Sapphire Lounge at JFK is outstanding — spotless, elegant, and exceptionally well-run. The buffet and à la carte options are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with top-quality refreshments and cocktails. Amenities like quiet seating, showers, and work areas make it a true haven before any flight. The staff’s warm, attentive service completes a five-star experience.

Poor service. If do you know somebody inside they’ll let u in not waiting on the list. I will never recommend this lounge. Im wasting my time and money. Whats the used of being a loyal CSR cc holder and waiting for an hour and not letting u in the system for the waitlist. They have to consider that this lounge is in term 4 and my flight is term 5 but still they wont let me in their waitlist before 3 hours of my departure time. Sucks service.

I am downgrading my card as we speak. I will not tolerate unprofessional staff to be disrespectful to me. Not worth paying the high annual fee if you can never access the lounge because it is always at capacity. Useless lounge. Don’t fall for this trap

Literally always “at capacity”. What’s the point of having the Reserve card if you can’t have this perk? Especially annoying considering they just increased thier annual fees. Honesty this is making me want to switch to AMEX.

I missed my flight ✈️ and had to pay $99 ( but I have AmEx Platinum so the $200 incidental credit will cover it).I was able to stop by the Chase Sapphire lounge ( 1 visit /yr is allowed with the AmEx Platinum card). The ambiance is nice with various seating areas. They have showers to freshen up and prayer 🙏🏾 rooms. The staff is attentive & friendly. The buffet food is good as well, there was a nice variety. The bar tenders were cool I had many mixed
cocktails 🍹. I look forward to my next visit.

10/10, ive been to multiple lounges and many areas and this is by far the best IMO. Made to order burgers are amazing, bartenders and drinks exceptional! I appreciate the seating hostess to optimize seating! Idk why the ratings are so low🤷‍♀️ maybe before saphire took over

Just got my Sapphire Card in the last year but my uncle has always had Priority Pass so I just guest pass with him all around the world and this is hands down the best lounge I've been to... have both buffet AND made to order menu with plenty of coffee and desert options.. honestly going to start preferring flying to/from NY via JFK.. see ya LGA and EWR lol

only waited 10 mins in line and not even 10 mins on wait list, staff is so great and welcoming, the manager came to check on us multiple times

Chase has obviously no idea what they are doing, and should just sell off these lounges to a third party that can operate them properly. There is a permanent wait, because they can only fit about 5 families before reaching capacity. At least the centurion lounge is worth the wait when there is one; at this point, I don't have much reason not to cancel my chase and switch to Amex.

Wo! What an experience!

Paid for the card yet at the entrance there’s a sign saying they can only accommodate Etihad members. This is a scam.

This is an excellent lounge, manage by Senia who sets a gracious standard for hospitality and service. This lounge is getting complaints re wait time as a result of its' small size in a major airport like JFK..They are doing their best to avert overcrowding and are planning a much needed expansion..As for the food-excellent.
The main course yesterday was thick baked salmon with a lobster bisque sauce,,,,rice and fresh vegetables to accompany...full bar-excellent house wines....nice dessert selection..Good looking burgers and fries are always available. This lounge deserves a better overall rating...wait times have influenced the score.Expect to wait up to an hour during peak.

Even with a Chase Sapphire Reserve, I always end up waiting 30+ minutes to get in—most of the time the lounge has plenty of empty seats when they finally let you in. Service is slow, the food is overly complicated with no simple options, and the “simple” dishes you can order by QR code take far too long to arrive. The space itself is nice, but the pointless wait makes it difficult to enjoy.
