The food is soggy and tasteless, absolutely disappointing. It's like they soaked everything in tasteless gravy and tried to pass it off as Chinese food. Don't waste your money here!

Been going for several years, and the food was amazing! After recent ownership changes I have gone twice and the food is awful, lo mein tasted old and drowned in soy sauce. Beef and broccoli is mushy drenched in oil. It’s a shame that they can’t cook how the old chef did. I really hope the place turns around and goes back to maintaining the old standards in cooking.

I ordered some chicken dumplings from this place, when I ate it, it was soggy, the taste was weird and when I got to the last few they magically became shrimp dumplings instead. I did not order shrimp, I don’t really eat shrimp but I’m not allergic so I guess it was fine. But what if I was? And when I was in the place there was already a lady complaint about how the food she got last time(it was something with chicken I think) was raw.

Nice place with a lot of choices on the menu. There is also a large selection of vegetarian dishes. It is better to order food to take away, because it is not cozy to sit inside (there are still remnants of the Kovid era - plastic curtains everywhere, etc.) The staff is very nice.

My favorite take out place in Jamaica. My fav is the sesame chicken , beef & broccoli. They are fast and always good! They never mess up an order. The lunch special is reasonable.
I used to live near this China Star location and used to order from them 3-4 times a week. They have great prices, they are not cheep and they are friendly. Sometimes late but worth the wait.
