Review: I visited this Chipotle location yesterday, and honestly, I was very disappointed. The place was extremely dirty. There were about six employees — three working and three sitting around reading or doing nothing. Despite the restaurant being practically empty, the tables were dirty, the floor was full of trash, and the garbage cans were overflowing. Even the glass looked unwashed.
I paid almost $20 for a burrito and a Coke, which I don’t mind if the service and atmosphere are good. But paying that amount to sit in such an unclean environment is unacceptable. Cleanliness is the most basic expectation when dining out, especially from a brand like Chipotle.
I’ve worked many years in the restaurant industry, and I know poor cleaning habits lead to bigger issues — rodents, cockroaches, and health risks. If the dining area looks this bad, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. This is a management issue: employees should not be idle when the restaurant is dirty, and managers must enforce standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
Chipotle is a strong brand with good food, but the staff at this location are ruining it. Please, supervisors and managers need to step in, train the team, and take responsibility. Customers deserve a clean, safe, and welcoming place to eat.
