I ate here once. The food was decent, but I think the prices are a bit high for the neighborhood. I wouldn't go back.

I can’t say enough good things about Compass Cafe. Their breakfast items and coffee are absolutely delicious, with a homemade touch that makes every bite feel comforting. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the customer service is exceptional! You’re greeted with a smile the moment you walk in, and everyone is just so kind and pleasant! It’s also a very quiet and cozy spot, perfect for getting work done or simply grabbing a bite to eat! It’s also a Christian, missions-based coffee shop so all of the proceeds go to a good cause which makes your visit even more meaningful!

Highly recommend visiting!

Top notch! The dining area is clean and well decorated. The vibe and character was a pleasant surprise, the food is fresh too. It would be nice to have a maple syrup option to go with the waffles instead of table syrup even if it was an extra charge. Great breakfast spot and walkable from the JFK hotels.

I typically spend a couple of nights per month in one of the nearby hotels on layovers at JFK airport. Compass Cafe has become my go to place for lunch. Really great sandwiches, bagels, pastries and sweets, and coffee. And all the proceeds go towards charity. I had the spicy turkey melt today with an iced coffee and it was amazing. 100% recommend.

What a lovely cafe! Needed a place to grab a bite and relax. The chai latte are great and had their spicy turkey panini and it was excellent.
Thanks again for a great lunch!

Just left Compass Café and I could not drive away before leaving this review. The lady who took my order, prepared the drinks, and then came around to hand deliver everything to me in the beverage carrier, was exceptional. The small details are what turns an experience from good to exceptional. Thank you for taking your time and helping me figure out what drink to get. The dirty milo is delicious, just like you said. Also, thank you for taking the time to bring the drinks and macaroon to me! I'm sorry that I did not get your name but she was working on 10/11/25 around 3:30pm.

Sausage, egg and cheese was good but kind of pricey for the neighborhood.

I got the strawberry and passion boba tea. It was okay not to the best. The staff and the ambiance is amazing.
