This place is lovely; it hits just like a classic meal you would eat at home in Ecuador. If I could, I would give it a 4-star review since in the past it never failed to feel like home. But today, things just started to go downhill for the restaurant. The wait wasn't long since most of the time it's empty, but today there were a few families. After seating, we got our orders taken at the 7-minute mark. We got complimentary popcorn 2 minutes later. Drinks came after 6...
Terrible service. Waitress was more focused on her phone then the costumers. Had me and my family waiting half an hour just to order. She didn't care to verify the order I placed because she said nobody ever ordered it. She gave us the wrong order. Do I recommend? Perhaps but fire her.
First time going in and mom and I were disappointed with the lunch special. Order chicken soup and that was good, ordered morocho tasty but the grains had huskd still on them and the arroz marinero was spoiled, the staff to care of the spoiled order and replaced with with arroz blanco con carne guizada,a bit salty but at this point didn't have the energy to nag. It could be a hit or miss but we were surprised that they didn't catch the smell that came off the arroz marinero.
