This location really sucks. If youre hungry, dont bother ordering your food here because youll get it within 2-3 business days.First time ordering a pizza I ordered light cheese and was left with NO cheese and a cold pizza. I understand i said light, but i had to imagine there being at least a crumb of cheese on there.Aside from that, the main issue is the delivery time. Both times the delivery was extremely slow. If youre local to the area, picture this: This dominos is off merrick, I live on baisley blvd, within the 172 neighborhood,,, so it should be a 4 minute drive... why is the delivery time always 30+ mins??? i would be less upset if the 30 mins was the baking, prepping and delivery together, but nope, on top of the 15 mins or less of ordering, be prepared to wait half an hour extra, or more, JUST for delivery. Even while the website/app says the driver left at a reasonable time, they actually didnt.Not sure if its an under staffing issue, but its not a pleasent experience. Might as well go to the grocery store and get ingredients to make it yourself.
I’ve only ordered from this location a few times, Merrick Blvd across from Home Depot & it’s only because I have a son who is autistic and wants their (nasty) pizza…but let me tell y’all, that was my last time ordering from the, even if I have to drive 2 hrs to another dominos location. The staff is rude when I pick up my orders, this time I went and the one lady collected my money, went to get the pizza and went right back to touching the dough, I confronted her about it and she gave me the nastiest look, as if I wasn’t supposed to say anything…I realize a lot of the pizza chains with a certain ethnicity does this and it’s something I e seen with my own eyes. It’s disgusting and will cause issues for their customers. DOH needs to do more inspections and training because clearly, they’re not doing the right thing….& they don’t know how to make good pizza anymore.
