Durning the middle of the pandemic this happened to be the only Chinese place to be open in the area. Going without Chinese food at least once a month is probably the worst nightmare for ma y of us. Needless to say I was craving veggie fried rice and ordered a large one. Portion was decent (lasted two days) the rice was delicious.
My favorite Chinese food restaurant is called Empire Garden. It's located in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. Under normal circumstances, I order takeout from there every Saturday night. This past Saturday, I couldn't get to Manhattan since the Heineken Virus made it unsafe to travel on public transportation. I had a craving for Chinese food so I looked for restaurants in my area. Thank goodness they reopened. They did not close until May. They were open in March and April this year billy business was slow. I love them. I order so much they know my name , address, and number! The food is fresh and they are pretty reasonably priced. Friendly and no attitude like at some other restaurants like they are doing you a favor being open!
