We were surprised to find this place. After 2 weeks in Europe it was nice to have some hearty American food on arrival. We had Roasted Turkey dinner. Pretty good. Staff was very disorganized and service was slow.

Stopped for a quick bite, yes it's not the cheapest but the homemade apple pie was sublime as were the strawberry milkshakes. I would definitely call again.

Nice atmosphere to grab a bite while changing terminals at JFK. Clean and friendly staff. Ruben was worse than bad.

I'm not sure what location this is, but I'll post on both of the yelps (3rd floor, or pre checkpoint/security location). This location as of 08/14/2019 is dirty as f**** the mess is uncanny. Drinks aren't on a first come first basis the work station had empty boxes of milk, refreshers and other useless cups. The staff here are not well educated in the Starbucks drinks and if it's not a pre listed drink on the menu they won't make it. The two black or African America girls that worked around 11-12 in the day were rude asf, they didn't even try to to understand my drink order. It wasn't even that difficult, I had wanted a dragon fruit açaí without the inclusions (no fruits) with a strawberry base with a tall scoop of ice. They had no idea what that meant... so I dumbed it even more for them. What I told them was I wanted a mango refresher and a strawberry açaí mixed together without any of the fruits, then take the ice scoop that you use for a tall drink. Like what??? How do you not know how to make the drink. Who ever is hiring this location didn't really think it through... probably 1 of the worst Starbucks I've ever went or ordered from. Like if you want a drink go to the Dunkin' that's in the same plaza, that's how bad it was. Plus they add like a 2-3$ charge on top of their drinks. The locations at downtown nyc vs the jfk locations varied hugely on prices

Poor communication between employees, they did not have the store front, behind the counter, or the seating area cleaned upon opening. Don't get me wrong the drinks and food were still great, however I just think the employees struggled with communicating effectively with one another or providing courteous customer service when placing drink orders. Tl;Dr - you're better off going to the Starbucks before the TSA

The worst service... waited 5 mins at the counter to have someone take the order... Then waited another 10 mins to get 3 coffee done. The employee is reading/playing the cellphone while the customers are waiting... No sleeve no trays no patience...

Had a break at Starbucks in terminal one, got good service, quite area with almost no noise, coffee was good as expected, I truly recommend this place for people which are looking for a quite place waiting for them next flight

Rude server. When I asked what flavor is the new product, she started at me with no respond. After I ordered, she turned to her coworker and asked what is the flavor of the new product. When I heard is made of white chocolate, I tried to confirm with her: is it made from white chocolate? She replied me: you heard her. I believe it is your responsibility to figure that out before placing my order.I said I don't want the white chocolate so I changed my order, her face was like no patients at all, acting like I owe her. Terrible experience.

Rude servers, didn't know how to use the starbucks card or reload it, forgot to make one drink of the order, then in the rush to make the drink, used whole instead of soy for someone lactose intolerant.

In July 2010, I walked through the front door into the HMS rest stop in Sloatsburg, NY and suddenly I was propelled by water on the floor and hydroplaned across the tile floor injuring my knee, hip and hand. After getting some medical assistance by the manager to stop the bleeding, he told me that many customers have fallen on the same area. The floor was defective, slick and it was raining and there were no floor mats to soak up the accumulated water. As of October 2011, (15 months later!) it seems that the company still hasn't made the area safe, even tho their website states that the owners known as Autogrill has revenues of $2.5 BILLION. This company has shown a lack of concern for the safety of any customers going into the rest stop which houses socially conscious companies such as Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Burger King, etc. Anyone else have this problem?
