The fried fish sandwich was surprisingly good. Their price for snowcrab was a lil high. I also didn't know that they charge tax. So though my fish sandwich was $6, I paid $6.53 and their 16oz bottle of ginger ale was $2.75. I'm definitely never buying a soda from them again.

It has a kitchen for fried and steamed delicacies as well.I used to swear by their fried whitting sandwich on wheat bread when I was pregnant in 2007! They offer a variety of steamed and fried dishes that are paired with vegetables and/or rice. My father brought home a steamed cod combo with broccoli one day, and we were all hooked.I would especially recommend a streamed dish when the Spanish Mami is doing the cooking. She seasons to perfection! Unfortunately, she wasn't there today, and I had to sazon up my 3 piece steamed red snapper filets with broccoli and corn on the cob, but it was delicious nonetheless. They don't have an extensive selection of vegetables, and you can't handpick them. I think he got my corn from the freezer ?.My recommendations are the fried whiting sandwich, the steamed fish [any kind], steamed clams [a must for me and I make pasta to go with the delicious sauce that is made from the butter and seasonings. Do not judge me!], and fried shrimp. NOT breaded. Without flour. Thank me later.

Fried/steam seafood with diff sides... the pre breaded food is nothing to do cartwheels over, BUT the hand breaded seafood is a different story. More expensive but better tasting in my opinion. This was my late wife's fav seafood spot bc of the fried blue crab. #ForeverTeeTee ?

Very honest people.Had foreign credit card issue that the manager went out of her way to handle.Fish was a bit dry, but overall good value for what we purchased.Would buy there again if in the area.

I order off of Gh and by far the worst fish I ever had it didn’t have any seasoning it taste like old fish that was refried a couple of times the shrimp had way to much flour no seasoning I’m literally sick rn

The food is delicious, however, as my food was being packed, the cashier put his hands all over my fish sandwich WITHOUT wearing gloves. It's very unsanitary, in my opinion, to handle money and food at the same time. I had my sandwich remade.

Saw this place when I went to a place a cross the street, caught my eye coz I've been craving for good fried fish. Checked them out and the place looks decent, small for a fish store but they have good selection of cooked and fresh seafood. I had my doubts but I'm glad I still tied them coz the food was good! The crabs were over fried or dried out but it had good flavor, I'd bet it would've been amazing if it were super fresh, but they had the fried fish and breaded fried shrimp were really good.The lady was nice enough that she wasn't rushing me while I was looking around and she didn't have an attitude which made me happy coz plenty of places seems to have unfriendly ppl working. She was also happy to assist.I'm glad I found this place close to my place, now we can have fresh good seafood anytime we feel like it. I definitely recommend.

Hello wonderful peopleWell, how can I say this well I went to j and c fish market around 7ish at night. I order the fried already red snapper. It was hard and was not good smh... ? I also order the fish and fries ? smh..... all I can say about here was maybe the food was not the best because it was late. And this was the only time I ever went to this market. Now would I try again.... ? maybe if I'm in the area but I know I would go out my way to visit them. So if you would like to take a chance on some food go try for yourself don't just take my word for it ... have a wonderful day ⚘️
