My family and I have been enjoying this place for years. Never ever any complaints, very accommodating. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Please don’t waste your time going here. My family and I went in for a quick breakfast and we were not at all impressed. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese, which wasn’t necessarily “bad” per say but I could’ve saved the money I spend there and got a cheaper better tasting one from the McDonald’s across the street. My boyfriend ordered an omelette with potatoes, he used so much salt to give it flavor I’m surprised he even ate it at all. My dad ordered a spinach omelette with grits and a salmon cake and tasted it and didn’t finish. The salmon was simply just mush, and so were the grits. To top it all off my dad ran his finger across the table and collected a full finger of dirt and gunk, it was almost as if the table had not been wiped down in weeks. We ended up leaving and going else where to find some decent food.

Most of the time the food is great and they have tried to run a tight ship. Its hard to please everyone all the time. My suggestion is "please get the order right" Most small business these days have a high employee turn over. Must be very challenging having to constatly train new people. Still, get the orders right. This will contnue to hep you stay afloat. Good Luck, be nice, try your best.

Been coming here for years even though the owner has a disgusting attitude. He needs to be more appreciative of the people who supports his business instead of hanging up the phone in the faces of people have been supporting for year! Duly noted!!!!!

Someone is going to smack Diana she has a very nasty attitude and I will not be returning.Why place an order over the phone and then have to come and wait??????Just shows how comfortable people get disrespecting customers..

One of my all time favorite places to go too, my entire family have been coming to this establishment for years. We enjoy all of their foods. The burgers and fries are great, the pizza is tasty, their bacon, egg and chesse are always on point. Breakfast menu is also fresh & delicious. You can get oatmeal, home fries, grits, pancakes, salmon cakes,toast, bagels, corned beef hash, and so much more, always a variety. Diane is superb, she always greets us with such enthusiasm. It's always a pleasure to come to Jays.
Every time I come to New York I have to come here... I only order the eggs bacon and home fries with pancakes and tea. The food is great, taste like something you would make at home. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they water down the syrup. But hey most paces do that so no big deal. I would recommend this place to anyone who comes to New York queens area.

the place is clean the breakfast is good...didnt care for the eggs..tasted a bit funny. havent tried the lunch but the place got a little packed for breakfast. the customer service was really nice. the price is pretty reasonable. platters range from 5-6 dollars and the beverages are all below 2 dollars. i may come back if im in the neighborhood but i wont go outta my way.

Very friendly neighborhood restaurant. I've known the establishment since I was in highschool and they know me on a first name basis. I haven't been here in a while but they are very hospitable and friendly. The breakfast is delicious.
