Unless your a man the waitresses and service is horrible. The women working here dont bother to smile or greet you unless your a man. The food is okay, atmosphere is horrible. Went to eat there once and got catcalled and harassed by some of the “regulars” men ofc. Never went to eat there again

Terrible place, bad service, the people who serve are in a bad mood, the food is not good, the rice was very hard and the beans are tinned. I love Dominican food but this place is very disappointing.
Note: outside they have prices as advertisements and on the menu the prices change completely.
I don't recommend this place.

The service is terrible, the waitresses are too rude, except with men who drink alcohol. I have been there a few times and what makes me not return is the terrible service. Besides, they charged me more than what was expected.

Hygiene is very poor. The waitresses rub their hands over their faces, buttocks and scratch their heads and do not wash their hands to serve customers. Not to mention the bathroom that smells like pure urine. They should try harder.
The food is inconsistent. My go to order is yellow rice with pernil and chances are the rice is hard . The Cuban sandwiches are disgusting .
Today I went to this restaurant like I do on regular basis. I have breakfast there every Sunday, when I have an event I cater from them, and I give them good tips. Yesterday I had a small order of white rice and crab meat. Today I ordered the same. I was told that the owner was there and she didn't sell it like that. I insisted that I had that order before but the owner lady didn't have the education to talk to me or look at my face.
When the day is slow they sell you whatever, and when the business is good they don't care. Is sad that we Hispanic act like that, because those business are in business because we support them. After this experience I am not planning to go back.
Baked chicken is one of the best. They know how to do it.

I went today to want to buy food, the door is damaged and it fell on me, no one cares, I asked to speak to the manager and the least I expected was an apology or a lady, okay, take a seat, do you want water? The staff there very rude saying is it your fault for not being careful? I mean it's my fault they have a door with dislocated Scotch tape, how does the city let them work like that? I am a young person but if it happens to an older adult, their bones will not support it and it could be worse, I am going to file a police report, I called the ambulance and they helped me, I called the police, they did not arrive and I had to leave, dying. It's cold outside, crying with my bloody foot, it's not fair. I don't recommend that place at all, if something happens to you, believe me, no one will help you.
Awesome food and customer service! I only wished their maduros were softer and sweeter. I ordered delivery and they forgot some stuff. Called them back and they sent it right away. The food was delicious! The people (on phone and delivery person) were very nice. Next time I'm in NY, I'll order from here again!
