Food is edible but it’s not the best. The breakfast potatoes were hard. The Omelette was bland, taste like nothing. The plate had residual food stains on it upon arrival and some dust that I pulled off the edge. I wouldn’t eat here again.

I walked all the way from terminal 8. Certainly, not worth the walk. Super small place (two tables) and some counter. The process for purchases is interesting: Order your food and pay (selecting the tip) even before the food arrives. The fact that they do not accept Apple Pay, but want you to key in your credit card information is also VERY unusual. The quality is below average, even for an airport location. I would not recommend. I had pizza and wine.
Note : They do not serve Coke products

My server was great, but paying $22 for boxed eggs doesn’t resonate with me. There should be disclosures in the menu to state that they are not using fresh and real eggs. Just disgusted that this is acceptable to serve here.

Specialty coffee without coffee, waited 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich that never appeared

There’s only one person taking the order and one pizza takes 20 mins to serve. Payment is taken upfront on an iPad where the server expects me to key in my email id or cell phone number and on top full name, credit card number expiration date, and cvv number; if I choose to pay by card.
Or pay CASH.
What happened to my security?
Why is La Vie taking my name, credit card details and my contact information, if I choose to pay using a card?
Why is there only one server at jfk?
Ordered a pesto pizza 12” for $20 + tax + 20% tip
And the pizza had a drizzle of pesto with no sauce whereas it was supposed to be having the bechamel

I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered one pizza with mushrooms and ended up waiting 50 minutes. When I asked about my order, the staff member didn’t even look at me and simply said, “checking right now.” Moments later, the pizza finally appeared, but to my surprise, the crust edges were still raw. Because my flight was about to depart, I just ate the center and left. I do not recommend this place at all.

I ordered a side of spinach and a side of broccolini, both dishes were outstanding!!!
Perfectly sautéed (not over done) and extremely tasty!
Not to mention the generous portions!
Stellar service too!!!
The waiter was kind to everyone, total angel.
Also, side note, I notice folks pay more for the fast food in the food court, which is insane (especially when this restaurant is feet away, right by the entrance in terminal 5!)

Well priced, mushroom pizza is delicious and the rigatonni bolognese pasta was on point. Our server although was busy he was very attentive and delivered excellent service. Great spot to grab a bite while waiting for your flight.

I enjoyed my breakfast and coffee here amid a dearth of decent dining options in JFK terminal five. My waiter, Riyad, provided excellent service and really brightened my day!

The moment my boyfriend and I sat down to order, the guy was being nice and dropped us off some water, once we let him know we wanted to order to go gave us attitude and told us we needed to go to the main restaurant, then took the glasses of water with him.

Service was great. The Carbonara was delicious and was priced incredibly modest for an airport joint. Pretty large portion too.

Ordered the chicken milanese and bolognese and they both were just meh. It wasn’t bad, but the flavors lacked and it didn’t seem that fresh. Vwry expensive, but not surprising for JFK in NYC.
