I truly love this restaurant. Every time I come I always leave happy because of the delicious iced coffee with the smiley face top. I also love the chicken empanadas and the breakfast in the morning. The service is great and the ambiance is relaxed sometimes it gets crowded !

I came here on a Sunday. I came on the Free Shuttle from Forest Hills/Kew Gardens.O remember stopping here on the way back from the beach with my family. This Colombian restaurant delivered a great mini Bandeja with lots of meat, both pork and Beef. My friends who are Jewish and Muslim won’t be able to enjoy it though. I felt like having the old-hen soup since it’s Sunday. However that mini-bandeja had a great tasting beans and rice. I also enjoyed the huge yellow plantain. I started with a coffee, my way and picked one of many pastries.Great food. I took the two soups home. I’m like a kid in a candy store, when it comes to Colombian food. The young lady taking and bringing the orders was all alone doing a great job and could use a helping hand. Clean and welcoming. Two TVs which are tuned to sports. I imagine the World Cup being shown on them.Thank you.

Was in the neighborhood early in the morning. Bakery was next to the parking lot. Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Empanadas were really tasty, cornbread with cheese was light and fluffy. Price was very reasonable for a good breakfast. The place got busier as the morning progressed. Wished we lived in the neighborhood so we can other items. Would definitely recommend.

The new employee or at least I had not seen her (dyed blonde hair) provides excellent customer service, always smiling and very friendly, she has not returned in a while due to the poor service, in contrast to the other employee who is very rude and chubby. In short, with good service, anyone returns. Thanks to the new employee with the dyed blonde hair.

The worst service of my life in New York, theHorrible empanadas. The people who work in that place are worse

I stop at Nutripan multiple times per week on my way home from work while transferring from the air train to the bus. They always have a good selection at the hot food table. I have tried everything from baked chicken, ribs, fried fish, soups to the empanadas. Everything that I have tried hits the spot. The staff is always very pleasant. They have a bakery section and fresh juice section. I haven't tried either but I always see a steady flow of customer's purchasing those items. If you are in the neighborhood this is a good stop. By the way they also have a full menu to order from. I have never ordered from the menu because I am usually in a rush.

The food was banging! Everything was delicious. I got the mini bandeja and my boyfriend ordered the baked chicken. He did not like the maracuya juice and how it was prepared. But everything else was perfect! The picante was good. It gets busy so prepare extra time.

Inconsistent Experience LatelyI've been a loyal patron of this restaurant for some time now, but I must share my recent experiences. Lately, the dishes have been overly salty, detracting from the overall enjoyment. The delicate balance of flavors seems to be lost, making it difficult to savor the true essence of the ingredients.Additionally, the lentil soup on Tuesdays and Thursdays has been consistently disappointing. After 4 pm, it transforms into a thick, almost dry consistency, lacking the hearty essence of a good soup and missing any discernible meat. It's crucial that the kitchen maintains the quality and essence of their dishes throughout the day.I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively, as I truly appreciate the potential this place has to offer. Addressing these concerns would greatly enhance the overall dining experience and keep me coming back for the flavors I initially fell in love with.

Nutripan, a Colombian Bakery, offers dine-in services as well. The majority of both staff and customers appeared to be Hispanic. Despite the summer season, I was pleasantly surprised to discover they served hot soup.Although I was the sole person in line, I wasn't assisted by either staff member. Then, dining-in Spanish-speaking customers arrived and they were served ahead of me, even skipping me four times before finally helping me. This behavior was entirely new to me.Once I was eventually assisted, I ordered the two soup options and rice and beans to go, since their restroom was out of service. The food's pricing was more reasonable compared to the city's rates and did taste like what I had expected. It was good.Despite the heat outside, the air conditioning inside provided relief, even with a full house. Although credit transaction fees has become a trend. It's worth noting they impose a higher credit transaction fee of 4%, but there doesn't appear to be a minimum purchase requirement. To enhance their service, it might be beneficial for the staff to wear name tags and label their position such as waitress only and they could work on improving their customer service skills.

I had lunch here and the food was amazing. I got mofongo for only $12. Pretty good spot to eat with family and friends. Service was fast and great. Highly recommend.
