Great place, clean! And polite staff
I ordered a cranberry muffin and It was incredibly stale. Super annoying to spend money on a treat for it to have to go in the garbage immediately. I recommend not over baking just to keep the counters looking full. Only bake what’s needed to maintain the freshness. It’s not fair to the customer to get stale products. You also loose a lot of trust that way.
Have given this store about half a dozen chances, but sadly every experience is a total fail. Every cake slice, especially the cheesecakes, tastes of stale cardboard. The dairy tastes like it's on the cusp of going rancid. Half the time, the cake tastes like the cleaning product they use to clean the display case glass. For the cakes to absorb cleaning product odors, tells you these cakes are sitting around all day.
Trust the other reviews who have made the same observations.
Pani Dolci has consistently had amazing food with kind and friendly service. This week I picked up a chocolate mousse cake for a party and it was a HUGE hit. Thank you for being part of our neighborhood!
Cheesecake was old and stale. You can’t eat it. I don’t know how you can sell it to anyone.
Again very disappointed.
I was trying to give it a try again after a long break. Last time I got strawberry shortcake and it was old too.
It’s a nice place to sit and have coffee only!
Your classic Italian Bakery! Definitely worth checking out
Delicious tasty pasties and cakes.

I walked in here and every pastry is winking at you, beckoning you. They all look so tempting and yummy behind the glass encasement, flirting with you saying “pick me, pick me.” Their pastries are truly a feast for the eyes. And that my dear friends, is where the feast ends. I’ve been here twice now, thinking the first time was maybe just a “broken fridge day, so pastries tasted kind of stale.” But 3 months later, and now on my 2nd visit and having bought THREE pastries this week, I can’t attest that, no, across the board their pastries just taste… off. Slightly stale, moldy. Even sour. I bought a napoleon, red velvet cake and amaretto mouse pastry. My 5yo bit into the napoleon and she scrunched her face: “mommy this tastes like glue.” Sure enough it tasted kind of sour and gelatinous, not creamy or custardy… just glue-y. The chocolate icing on the amaretto mouse thing was gelatinous and hard to cut with my fork, not crunchy or chocolatey, just semi-hard glue-y. I’m giving them 2 stars because I’m feeling generous: one because they nailed “looking good” and the 2nd because their staff was super friendly. Sadly we were home when we tried the pastries or we would’ve returned them to get our money back. This place is going downhill judging by the lack of freshness or attention. Do not be fooled by “sexy-looking” pastries that taste sour and stale.
I absolutely love the friendly staff and the cozy environment of this bakery! I've never had a bad experience and the food and drinks are always on point hence the lines and the constant flow of traffic! It's nice to know there is a place such as this in the neighborhood where one feels welcomed! The fruit tart is DIVINE! Keep us the great work all! 😊

Bought 4 different mousse types to try so my wife and I could have dessert for today and tomorrow, and what we got was stiff as a board dry and chalky garbage. The cake too was dry and hard and the flavor on them was also off, as if it were sitting there for a while or not kept cool. Every time I want a local dessert I’m reminded why I’m better off literally walking 30+ minutes or ordering because this place always disappoints.

I wanted to say here that the pastry makes cake that visually looks good
The taste of cakes and desserts always tastes sour as damaged I guess they don't have a cool air conditioned environment
The employees are friendly and no problem and the atmosphere is extremely hot in summer or winter but the dessert tastes very bad too past expiration and costs expensive

Wish i could give 0 stars .Went in and ask for a baggete with chesse cream like anyother bakery does and this ladybtold me she doesnt speak spanish then i repat it back in english and she say they dont do that .I was very happy for nonrelated reasons and recieve a rude girl in the morning that doesnt wanna sell what already is there to buy .And i know it wasnt a racial thing wich make things worse because everyone is subject to this rude attitude .So i coudnt get nothing to eat and left with a sour taste .Maybe they dont do bagettes with cream chesse i understand but the way to say it was like i was begging for food .There is a colombian bakery lola around the corner maybe go there and buy something and see good service .
