One of the best in Queens. I moved to NC and VA and cannot find patties or other Caribbean foods as good. Every time I’m visiting NYC, I visit Patmar and bring back a dozen Pattie’s and coco bread.

I don’t know what going on at this establishment but it is going downhill, last year I ordered a birthday cake and they spelled the persons name wrong although it was written correctly in the book. When I called to complain they told me the person who does the decorating left for the day. This time around my partner tried to order a cake and they told him they were no longer offering decorating services so he had to take the plain black cake. As I’m eating the cake I almost broke my tooth because they did not blend up the ingredients properly. I know black cake is made with fruits so I have no idea what these little black things are that I keep biting. We honestly deserve a refund, this is ridiculous.

Your cashier needs to have manners . After I got my 2 beef patties I said thank you , and she didn't respond . Just put her head down scrolling on her phone . It's crazy , because she gave the customer before me excellent service . Smiling and laughing with them , smh . First impressions are everything .

I just left this establishment at 1524(3:24pm) on 10/19/24 and had the worst experience. I picked up a cake that was ordered and the decoration was not as I ordered. I then ordered 3 chicken patties with cheese only to find out that I was given beef with cheese. I called there to complain and this rude employee tried to make every excuse in the book as to why I received the order. She also rudely told me that 1524 was 524pm and told me that I must not get excited. The audacity and unprofessionalism of said employee! The customer service is less than desired, Mr Pat needs to rid himself of this staff member!

Came here on my lunch break with a few coworkers who recommended I try this place. Upon entry I already knew something was up, the place is small and the interior and decor is super outdated. The pudding and cakes in the fridge LOOKED OLD & STALE ? the YOUNG dark skinned girl had a very, nasty attitude I watched her handle money and serve Pattie’s/coco bread with bare hands, no gloves and when I suggested she wear gloves she told me “there’s not a difference” huh are you slow ? So cross-contamination and getting ppl sick is OKAY!!! She needs to be trained or moved to the back , her customer service SUCK!! No lie I thought I seen a mold spot on my coco bread. The prices are affordable but yeah definitely my first and last time coming here.

I saw some good reviews and pass this place all the time but never went inside before. I had a spinach patty, chicken soup and bread pudding. It was all delicious.They charge extra for card transactions but alot of idiots dont know creditcard companies charge merchants a fee to process transactions. They are just making you pay the credit processing fee that you make businesses pay whenever you use your credit card. Use cash and it will be cheaper.
