I love their food! What I get for just $12 last me till the next day! I was surprised to see pigs feet on the menu, and the fried pork is delicious but a bit pricey per pound. I love that when you enter you hear the Spanish music playing and see the beautiful latina waitresses.

I don't know about you lot, but there's nothing like this rice & peas/beans since like in awhile forever. This place really puts Spanish foods on the map for me. Soda is kind of expensive here though. Bring the family, eat, sit enjoy yourself.

Every time that I’ve eating here I was never disappointed in fact I recommend this spot to my coworkers. It’s very delicious and tasty not too salty. I always get the pork with the rice and beans. Cash only though. My boyfriend put me onto this spot and I do think about it often while living in another borough

They definitely change the price depending on your skin color. I've been there several times and they always change the price. With receipts.

I just spent $77 on the Puerto Plata Picadera… avoid it at all costs. The steak came soaked in oil, as if it got deep fried, with a very unpleasant flavor, as if it was old meat. The chorizo was severely undercooked, the container after removing the food from it, it had oil all over it… and the worst part of all, for all that money I only got HALF of the container with food. Almost as if they counted piece by piece what was put into the order. I tried calling them 3 times to see if something can be done about this issue but they appear to have calls blocked, or their number is disconnected. By far the worst experience I’ve gotten from a restaurant I picked at random to order food.
The food here is absolutely delicious. The staff seemed very friendly. Will definitely return.

HORRIBLE the Mexican lady at the front is absolutely nasty her attitude sucks shouldn’t be working there I am pregnant asked for fried pork chops and she rolled her eyes saying she didn’t want to walk to the kitchen like WTH that’s your job too hot to have a damn attitude
