I came here to get soul food, its jamaican food. That being said the food that i ordered was all very good. Alot of options too also for dessert. I would definitely come back here.

I recently placed an order through Uber Eats for pickup. When I got home, I realized one of my meals was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the employee I spoke with told me I would need to come back to pick up the missing item.

I explained that the store is quite far from my home and that I had walked there, so returning would be very inconvenient. I asked if I could be compensated in some way for the mistake, but the employee said no and insisted I could only come back for what i ordered. When I requested to speak to a manager, I was met with rudeness and no apology for the error.

This was a disappointing experience, both because of the missing item and the lack of courtesy or effort to make the situation right. I hope this feedback can be used to improve customer service and ensure mistakes are handled with more care in the future.

Omg... I ordered them on UberEats. BBQ Turkey wings with greens and plantain and Beef Ribs with Mac and Yams. I couldn't wait to dig into the BBQ Turkey wings. Chef's Kiss. The most tender turkey wings I've ever had in NYC. Couldn't get the photo fast enough before I damn near devoured the wing. Greens and plantain were spectacular. The Beef ribs were just as tender. Complete fall off the bone tender. Mac and Yams were spectacular also. Hands down, a must try if in the mood for good home cooking. Nothing was over salted like some other places. Everything seasoned very well.

Food was not seasoned enough Mac and cheese could have been more fresh the cabbage was bland the lemon honey cake was the best thing I really enjoyed I hope this review reaches for a better experience with the food

Don't waste your money or time going. Ain't no way this place should be named soul food cater. I originally went there for the chopped BBQ dinner. BUT THEY DID NOT MAKE THAT DAY. SO I ordered the jerk BBQ pork. Which was nasty and old. I order potato salad which looked like someone mixed it with coleslaw ( how can you mess up potato salad if you are black or Caribbean. I also ordered the mac and cheese which was Excellent . This is how they earned the one star and lastly I ordered the banana pudding for desert. I think they made it with water because it was like soup. It was soupy. The total was about $38. Which i won't mind if the food was edible. And let's not forget about the service. The place was not busy at alll but the waitress, was acting as if i was bothering her. Very unfriendly. i wish I can get my money back

My first time coming here after a recent review on TikTok, it's always hard to find decent soul food in queens so I am thankful. I ordered the whiting I thought came with shrimp but it was probably my fault for not asking that which was advertised on the wall, I got the Mac with yams Mac was ok could've used more seasoning but the yams were fire!! I will return back bc they did have other things there I would like to try.

I bought 8 Shrimps and French fries. The shrimps were overcooked and hard and the French fries were soggy. I heard of them on TikTok and this was my first and last time here. $26 wasted

Eh… after living down south for a while this is definitely not soul food, but it’s OK. The oxtails have a weird sweet taste to them and the greens must be canned... Also, the cornbread was dry and stale . I’ll probably try something else next time , maybe….

We ordered the smothered turkey wings with mashed potatoes and cabbage AND the jerk turkey wings with yams and cabbage and both meals were delicious and the portions were huge!

When I tell you that the food here is a 20/20. Everything is seasoned perfectly, there are so many options that you cannot go wrong with your choice. I had the pork BBQ ribs, Mac n cheese & collard greens and when I say it was so good, I almost went into a food coma while eating it. Nikki was so amazing and gave us samples of things we wanted to try since it was our first time there and listen, I'll be back.
