I’ve never had such a terrible experience when ordering take out to have the need to write a review this place has terrible service and terrible food the people taking the orders were rude from the beginning and the food was old and spoiled we were served chicken that was so bad we couldn’t eat it when asked for a refund the waitress became rude and defensive before she even spoke to management. Not worth it don’t eat here.

They have to do a better job paying attention to Orders, it’s the 2nd time I ordered something and they got it wrong!!! When it is clearly printed on the receipt. And when you call there is no Manager to speak to. Bad Service. They will need to fix this and be more careful or they will lose a customer

the food here is so affordable and delicious. a little over $15 for a quarter rotisserie chicken combo with rice and beans plus water bottle and tip is fantastic. my meal was filling and the chicken was so juicy and tender. the skin was well-seasoned and the green sauce added a nice kick of spice. definitely check it out if you’re in jamaica.

The Tallerines verdes watery , it should have been just called tallerines de agua , lacked taste completely and such a small portion you would think someone ate it already. The salchipapas omg 4 miserable pieces of chorizos there were more papas than salchi, it was just papas. The steak was huge which was generous, but disappointing bc it lacked taste .as if they just threw it on the pan then threw it on top of the spaghetti, no seasoning , no love no passion . Such a sad plate , sad looking food . So sad it made me sad .

A bad experience in this specific place, because my person has visited the other places and not a single complaint about the ones in sunnyside, Jackson heights,. Here at Hillside Ave it is not the first time that the food is not given to me fresh but also lukewarm. I got to order 1- chicken soup, 1 soup with a minute, a large combo that is chicken, potatoes, rice, I don't know what else. I phoned the takeout order and when it arrived I had to wait about 27 minutes by the clock,
The soup was all lukewarm and the fat was on top and you can see that it was heated because I saw when they put the microwave in, so it's not fresh.
The soup ala minuta Pure papa and noodles and a few pieces of meat, don't go overboard! What a tough face!!!! And when I ordered the chicken I specified that I wanted it apart from the leg, now in other Peruvian establishments and especially in the one in Sunnyside they grant it to you but be careful for a higher price and it seems fine to me,
But the lady at the counter told me that they can't do that because sometimes it doesn't turn out well and they are left with just breasts, and I think that's very bad because as a customer you don't have to know that, that's something that management controls. and do portion control well.
It seems very bad to me and I hope that the owner who stops at Sunnysode sees this and pays more attention to his business and I wanted to know why the request is possible in some and not in others?
2 years later .. 2/27/24 I came to eat to give them another chance and leche de tigre with diced onion, I ordered leche de tigre Fish and it came mixed (that's for plenty) so they attacked me. Better close it if you are not going to pay attention to the complaints or change that cook!!! ???????????? deceive others not a PERUVIAN!!!!!
