A bad experience in this specific place, because my person has visited the other places and not a single complaint about the ones in sunnyside, Jackson heights,.Here at Hillside Ave it is not the first time that the food is not given to me fresh but also lukewarm.I got to order 1- chicken soup, 1 soup with a minute, a large combo that is chicken, potatoes, rice, I don't know what else.I phoned the takeout order and when it arrived I had to wait about 27 minutes by the clock,The soup was all lukewarm and the fat was on top and you can see that it was heated because I saw when they put the microwave in, so it's not fresh.The soup ala minuta Pure papa and noodles and a few pieces of meat, don't go overboard! What a tough face!!!!And when I ordered the chicken I specified that I wanted it apart from the leg, now in other Peruvian establishments and especially in the one in Sunnyside they grant it to you but be careful for a higher price and it seems fine to me,But the lady at the counter told me that they can't do that because sometimes it doesn't turn out well and they are left with just breasts, and I think that's very bad because as a customer you don't have to know that, that's something that management controls. and do portion control well.It seems very bad to me and I hope that the owner who stops at Sunnysode sees this and pays more attention to his business and I wanted to know why the request is possible in some and not in others?2 years later .. 2/27/24 I came to eat to give them another chance and leche de tigre with diced onion, I ordered leche de tigre Fish and it came mixed (that's for plenty) so they attacked me. Close it better if you are not going to pay attention to the complaints or change that cook!!! ???????????? deceive others not a PERUVIAN!!!!!

I called for delivery online has one price and the charge you almost double because prices are different you call, the prices are not the same online and when you call for a delivery the prices are almost double, be careful, false advertising, false appetizing.

PLACE COMPLETELY EMPTY! Came to pick up an order they started when i arrive , the cashier and the guy in the kitchen talking a lot instead of taking care i was waiting!! The restaurant took 40m from the time the order was placed!!!

The best of the best. I get the fried rice with either chicken or beef.....always hot and fresh. Make sure you get the green and white sauce on the side! Comforting loving and just hits the spot.

My family and I have been long time customers of Riko. However, this will be the last time we order from this restaurant. On many occasions, they forgot to include items in the orders. On this particular day, we ordered food for pick up. A quarter chicken combo with rice and salad. Unfortunately the bag was tied tightly and we didn't realize until later that they did not include any salad or sauce. We tried to call the restaurant to let them know, and all they could say is that they don't speak English over and over and hung up the phone. They were extremely rude about it and did not try to communicate with us. I don't think it's appropriate to run a business and not have any staff available that cannot communicate with non Spanish speaking customers. We are in a very diverse neighborhood and it sends the message that you are only willing to cater to your own. I've called before and had conversations in English about ordering cakes and catering and the person I spoke to was able to communicate with me. So I'm not sure what changed or why they were unwilling to solve this problem. It's just the lack of effort that is disappointing because we are trying on our end to communicate and I fear that they use the language barrier to not take accountability for their mistakes. I only suspect this because of how frequently it happens. Anyway, we've given this place many chances and won't be doing so again.

This restaurant is the only Peruvian restaurant close to where I live, which is why I have tried several dishes hoping that one of them will be good. I'm sorry to write that the customer service is terrible, the times I've gone to order grilled chicken I always ask for part of the leg but they tell me that if they have it they'll give it to me and if not there's no way. One of the many times that I went, I noticed that on the bill there was a double tax charge, the first applied to each product and the second to the total amount, I asked why they charged me double taxes and they did not know how to answer well, first they said that It was tips and then they said it was for the service, I told them that the tip is voluntary and they responded NO that they already had the authorization to charge it that way.It seems disrespectful to me that they want to collect tips by lying and demanding it on the bill, then they said it was FOR THE SERVICE OF EATING AT THE TABLE, and I ask myself: why do I have to pay to use the table if I am Buying at that restaurant, it's not food from anywhere else, it's incredible.

Prices are very reasonable however the salad has no avocado and the chicken is very dry. I ordered it for the first time today and I'm disappointed. Not the best 1st impression.
