Best place to get Soul-Food. The wait may be long but the service is awesome. I been going to Rockaway fish house for years. My grandmother worked there with her good friend and owner Mr. Charlie, when Carmichael dinner closed down. If you want some good down SOUL-FOOD YOU have to give Rockaway fish house

My son went for me and ordered the whiting with greens, they had no cornbread and they loaded the tray with an overwhelming amount of liquid from the greens spilled over and they also plopped way too much yams. The food was very bland, barely any seasoning. I would not be going back??

I feel the food was not as tasty as it was in the past. I bought fried fish for my wife. She complained about the fish being hard. The Mac and cheese was average. The smothered pork chops was good. Disappointed.
