OK! I understand us as black folks suck at customer service but that food was so gooood no lies. I pass this place all the time but never gave them a chance because it just doesn’t look clean ?. But I was hungry late one night y’all and it was either them or their competition next door. I got the fried fish and shrimp combo with seasoned fries, I paid about $17 if I’m not mistaken. Everything was just hitting! I was cleaning out the tartar sauce container with some fries. I’ll be back

I've ate here a few times and it was always good. However, today I picked up catfish and shrimp platter. As I'm eating I find a fried fly attached to my fish. This has never happened before and I'm so disappointed.

This place does fried fish very well. Perfect. Served up hot, fresh, and crisp from the fry basket. I pick up lunch here every so often and am always satisfied. My daughter says it can't be beat.

Today was my first time visiting my neighborhood seafood eatary. I am super disappointed. I ordered a catfish & shrimp. My fish was not CATFISH. I am born and raised with parents from the south. My mom's nick name is Fitish because she loves catfish therefore I was raised on it. Anyway this place tried to pass off Swai as Catfish. The fish texture was too soft for Catfish and it wasn't shaped like Catfish. It was long like Swai. Catfish is hearty in texture aka thick/meaty. This is the 2nd black owned restaurant in the neighborhood that has tried to pass off this cheap fish as Catfish. At least the other place owned up to it. I called back to inform the gentleman who took my order that what he had given to me was not Catfish. Of course he denied it. Smh! Lastly, I had a small collard greens which was very bland and lack flavor. $24 not worth it at all. It goes to show that you don't know what is really being given to you when eating out, case in point. Lastly, I am a pescatarian so all I eat is fish. I have fish taste buds fully covered. For those that don't know what pescatarian is..I do not eat meat. If you want real catfish go to Pies-n-Thighs in Brooklyn. White owned but they won't scam you with Swai. Its real Catfish fried in cornmeal not flour like Seamorhen. Another support black business fails. Another black business misleading their own community. If Seamorhen is ok with misleading folks then they are ok with getting this real honest review. Do better and buy real Catfish?

Sooooo today was my first time goin to this spot after hearing so many good reviews about the food so I decided to give it a try.......I can actually say that the customer service is bombbbbbbb but they messed up my order & was very disappointed that I paid for food I never received my boyfriend & I both ordered the fish & shrimp combos One with just fries & 1 with Mac & cheese with yams......They got his order right but my order *see pic below*
