Very disappointing experience.
I placed an order online several weeks in advance for delivery on a specific weekend, but it didn’t arrive until the following Tuesday. The business told me UPS changed the shipping, but UPS denied this—and based on the tracking and timing, I believe UPS. It appears my order was shipped via ground instead of the 2-day service (I paid for ) in order to save costs. Unfortunately, this delay ruined our event. Very disappointing and a real shame.

My best childhood memories were brought to life again today! I am so thankful I recently discovered Shaheen Sweets this Diwali! I went in person today to see the best Mithai world wide being made the same way if not better than my childhood. My family and I would go to Jackson Heights and get the best Samosas, Patties, and Mithai from here. Honestly I am always blown away with the quality, and heart and soul poured into this restaurant. The owner was so humble, kind and thankful for my heart felt thoughts of the business. If you haven’t been YOU MUST GO. No other sweet shop beats the dedication, pride and hard work that made this business so famous. Hard work and persistence is key and they exceeded above all. Wishing them all the best for continued growth and prosperity.

This family-owned spot makes the freshest and most delicious sweets! I stopped by to pick up a Diwali gift and ended up leaving with so much more after meeting the owner, who’s genuinely one of the kindest, sweetest people.

I’ve never tasted anything like this before. Such a beautiful find, perfect for Diwali or can make a wonderful gift any time of the year! Safe to say, I’ll be coming back again and again.

Mithai is simply superb. May it be Burfi, Motti Choor Ka Lado, Ghulab Jamun, Chum chum or anything. We custom ordered for a box of 9 items and the price was USD13 per pound.
Parking is an issue as in Queen's downtown, we double parked, turned the hazard lights as seemed to be the norm there.
I requested them to let me use their employees washroom and found their kitchen to be very clean as well.
