Airport prices are expensive, but this one goes beyond the limits. There was only pizza when I went (you couldn't even call it pizza). It was small, dry and had little flavor ($19.50). To make matters worse, the waiter's service was one of the worst in my life. He brought the drinks in a pet bottle (not refrigerated, without a glass, without ice and it still came wrong!) and was very rude (he even had the nerve to ask for a tip).

PSA: after security, turn LEFT and go to the food court and eat instead of going toward your gates and to this ripoff joint.RIDICULOUS prices. Yes, I know, it's an airport. Of course it will be a bit pricier. I've worked in airports 5 days a week across the US for the last 12 years and SoHo Bistro has the worst prices for prepackaged food that I have witnessed at any airport. I just paid $25 for a gas station sandwich, small bag of chips, and a Red Bull. They get one extra star for the fact that the Red Bull was "only" $3.29, which is almost civilian-store price as most airport retailers charge $4.99 for this size. That leaves $22 for a sandwich and bag of chips, and not even a hot/fresh sandwich at that. What the heck?!!They also did not itemize my receipt or post prices for their premade products other than their beverages. I can only guess how each item was rung up. $15 for the sandwich, $5 for the mini bag of chips, and $3.29 for the Red Bull, maybe? Unreal. All that, and there was no best by/expiration date on the sandwich to indicate how fresh it was. The cold sandwich tasted okay, don't get me wrong, but even in an airport it wasn't worth more than $12 and most airport retailers would charge $8-10 for a cold & factory-made sandwich.??????

I’m judging this place knowing it’s an airport restaurant and in NY. Factoring that in, this place ain’t so bad. I asked for a medium rare burger and mine came out more or less medium rare. Tasted just fine. Decent fries. Is it worth $20-25? Not in a vacuum. But this is about what you’d expect in a NY airport.

The meal I had here was pretty good. The burger was juicy and I appreciated that condiments came on the side. Service was nice and not pushy. There is enough light here so you can see everything.

Oh how I wish I’d brought some cardboard to eat instead of the wings from a sad emaciated chicken and celery that hasn’t seen a farm in the last few years. At least the flatbread was flavorless. Expensive but flavorless.

I had the mushroom flatbread with Aperol Sprits and it was very good. The bartender was friendly and the place has plenty of seating.
Wouldn't recommend the mushroom pizza, tasted like cardboard and extremely overpriced. Service is disorganized and slow. Stay away at all costs

This place isn’t nearly as bad as the reviews imply. People usually leave reviews if they had a really bad or really good time. The Caesar salad with chicken was good even if it is expensive. The chicken was well cooked and plentiful. Just make sure you advocate for yourself. If you just sit there quietly without flagging down the waiter you’ll be waiting for a long time. It’s an airport bistro not a five star steakhouse.

Well, I guess you can make JFK Airport look nice, but you can't take the NY attitude out of the place. Stopped here during a longish lay over. Shared a mushroom flatbread. They didn't cut the 'pizza'. It wasn't crisp. The mushrooms were not the advertised 'wild mushrooms'. Then got a side of fries. They were ok. The waiter was a bit gruff, but what can you expect, it's NY!
