They are rude and show an unwilling attitude towards work. The employee took my order while leaning on their hand and staring at their phone.

My wife, who is 12 weeks pregnant, was treated terribly at this Starbucks in JFK Terminal 1 (Gate 3). She asked multiple times for her drink to be made decaf, but the staff ignored her and gave her a caffeinated drink, putting her health and our baby’s health at risk. What made it worse was that the staff acted like they didn’t understand her because of her pronunciation, even though she repeated herself clearly. It felt like they were laughing at the situation instead of taking her seriously.
When she went to pick up her sandwich, the same dismissive attitude continued, and even the manager showed no respect or care. She left stressed, embarrassed, and disrespected. This was not only unsafe but also discriminatory, and it is completely unacceptable. Starbucks should investigate this and make sure staff are properly trained to treat all customers with respect.

Went there today, ordered a hot Matcha Latte w/ oat milk (6$ something) and bought a NYC mug of the Discovery Series - cost me 30 $ with tax. I noticed that the price on the tag was blackened by hand (could still see the original Price 17.95 $), which was weird to me. When the waitress scanned the mug, it was 20 $ something. In every other Starbucks I went to the mug was 17.95 $. Unfortunately, I wasn’t asked for the receipt, which was quickly beging tossed away. I asked for a bag, the waitress gave me the bag and I had to pack the mug myself. The hot Matcha later came iced, I saw how the lady filled the mug half with Matcha and the other half with ice, not worthy more than 6$!!! I waited so long and the service was so pourly I didn‘t want to spark a debate. Next time JFK - Not Starbucks for me!

Honestly, the worst Starbucks we have ever been to (worldwide), and hands down, the worst service we have had in the US. This place really outdid itself. The staff clearly doesn’t want to work: instead of just preparing drinks, they’re busy with side tasks while making customers wait. My partner and I waited 20 minutes for something as simple as water and an Americano apparently too much effort for them.
Maybe they’ve deliberately stationed the worst employees here, knowing T1 serves mainly European and Asian flights, so they don’t feel the need to meet basic US service standards, and they think they will get away with it. This is next level bad service.
Special shoutout to the cashier who asked me what I wanted while my partner was ordering with her other colleague, and then sighed and rolled her eyes when I told her I was with him. Bravo!
If you value basic courtesy and efficiency, avoid this location at all costs.

Very bad service in the airport marti working in the cafe and he was very rude I advise the starbucks to look for this branch it’s the important place in the airport

This is a Starbucks located within Terminal 1 at JFK International Airport. Everything was 100% meh to be honest. I ordered a hot chai which was decent. Staff were doing their jobs but no apparent customer service to speak of. It wasn't crazy busy so maybe a greeting would have been nice. Items seemed more expensive at this location. There are some tables out front and a small seating area at the back facing check in counters.

Worst expresso order experience ever 🤪😰🤦🏻😡🤬 15' to get an expresso with just 2 other clients in front of me. Execrable service !

Not bad for a place with heavy traffic like an airport. After all, you want coffee and they give it to you. People working in such busy places can get tired.
