Bought a large Chicken chownein and a couple of fish cakes. The Chowmein was not that great. It didnt have flavor and was a little too salty. The Fish cakes unfortunately were no better. They were hard, fat and tasteless.. .Too many fillers!
I have to say for the amount of people, the small area, and the noise level, the ladies behond the counter do a great job of staying focused and meeting everyone's needs/orders. Thank you ladies!!

Where do I start with Sybil’s? Do I begin with my childhood in the ’90s, tasting their incredible baked goods like tennis rolls, Guyanese patties, the end piece of the pone (my mom’s favorite!), and those unforgettable pine tarts? Or should I talk about the late nights traveling from Crown Heights to their Church Avenue location in Flatbush, only to find they were closed, or the food runs in the afternoons and late nights through rough, rural parts? My mom made sure her kids knew our culture through its food, and that tradition has definitely been passed down. Now, as an adult, I’m still coming to Sybil’s restaurant.
The food and bakery still have that same delicious taste. I’ve been coming to this location for some time now, and I’m no stranger—their baked goods and food remain top-tier. Every time I visit, I see women my mom’s age shopping here at all hours of the day, which shows that Sybil’s is a staple in the Guyanese community. I lean more on the American side, but coming here brings back an array of childhood memories, culture, and amazing food.
Ps- it can get super busy at times!

Please give Ashley a raise, she has good customer service and was very friendly. Hired more people like her.
I called and ordered and then add food to my order ,when I got there and it was not a problem for Ashley .
Thank you Ashley ❤️

The flavors are fantastic! Best curry goat I've had in an long time, not boney. The pinetarts should be in a French bakery.
