We visited in May 2025. I would recommend this place. We had a long layover. A local told us about this place. We walked over here with all our luggage in tow. The restaurant is inside the TWA hotel. The hotel is cool in a retro way. We were able to store our luggage under the counter. There was no wait for a table. The wait staff was super friendly. The food was really good. The pizza and salmon sushi were my favorite. Even the salad was excellent. We spent a few hours eating and drinking. Watched a wedding take place in the lobby. It was a fun experience versus sitting in the terminal. There is also a plane in the back of the hotel that they turned into a bar.

At 7am music was so loud I could hear my breakfast companion talk. Coffee was worse than gas station versions. Eggs & bacon were ok, breakfast potatoes good. hotel and restaurant were really a disappointment though. TURN DOWN THE MUSIC!!!

I wish I could leave a negative for service. Had a 7:15 reservation and arrived at 7:10. Was seated immediately at a cute table overlooking the entrance to hotel. I was just coming for dessert as I had dinner up at the bar on the roof. It took ten minutes for the server to come to me after sitting. I ordered a wine and a slice of carrott cake. I got both within 5 minutes of ordering. The cake was huge and worth the price for where the restaurant is and it being A Jean Georges restaurant. Ten minutes later the server came over to see if I was ok. I asked for a glass of Pinot noir. He asked if I had gotten the first glass already. Confused I said yes and that I’d also like to box up the rest of the cake. He brings the wine 2 mins later and then didn’t come back for another 20 minutes. He went to other tables and hung out at the bar. He finally realizes I’m still waiting and comes towards me and quickly turned around. He comes back with the box and handed to me saying “they forgot you”. If I had been in a hurry this experience would have been horrific. I’m not sure if because I was a single diner or if the server is just bad but he needs retraining. The rest of the staff was great- I watched the other servers and they were smiling and laughing and attentive. This was on 6/30

All the stars! The hotel is a must see! The food at Paris Cafe was delicious! I had the eggs benny with smoked salmon and my husband had the omelet with smoked salmon. The best part of the meal was the excellent service we received from Marco! He was friendly and gave great recommendations! We will be definitely be back to see Marco and enjoy the delicious food!

Before you look at the menu, keep in mind you are in NYC and at an airport, then the prices are not so shocking. We started with drinks. I had the raspberry lychee bellini. I don't recommend it unless you like sweet tarts. But there is a large selection of wine, beer and liquor. We had the meatball appetizer. There were 4 small meatballs, lots of sauce and 2 large pieces of toast. They also give you a small bread basket. The tomatoes sauce with the meatballs was spicy, but in a good way, and there was plenty of sauce to dab your bread as well. The chicken breast entree was good size and tasty with artichokes and lemon but not over lemony. Sides are separate and additional cost so be sure you are hungry before ordering. Nadine was our Server and was very attentive and pleasant. When looking at dessert, also remember there is a food shop downstairs with shakes, cookies and cheesecake. For the glass of wine, one cocktail, one appetizer and one entree (no sides), it was $93, but again, airport/NYC. If you want more drinks, there is the Connie outside, the bar in the restaurant and another bar downstairs so take your time and enjoy it all.

Jewel is an outstanding server and one of the best Turkey Burgers I have ever had. Take the time to step back into 1962 and dine at this little gem!!

I ordered a chop salad and NY strip which was almost $50. The salad was drowning in vinegar dressing, far too much. They didn’t even put pepper or salt on the steak, and it was unevenly cooked. I could have made a better meal at home for less than $10 but unfortunately when you stay at the TWA hotel this is basically your only option to sit down and have dinner. My server brought me my water at the beginning of service and that’s the last time I saw them until I had someone hunt them down to get my check. Next time I’ll just get a sandwich at Vinny’s and skip the hassle.

$276 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 4. There is nothing special about this place. Fish and chips tasted off. Meatballs were tiny and sad. The pizza is the size of a NY slice but 10x the price.

Avocado toast ($22) was delicious, but fairly expensive since it's in TWA hotel

We stayed at the TWA hotel the weekend before Christmas and decided to eat at the Paris cafe as it was convenient and fit the retro vibe of our trip. We were able to be seated without a booking.
Service was friendly and the food was good.
I would recommend if you have time to burn at the airport instead of waiting airside take the air train to the TWA hotel and have a meal, it’s probably the same price as airport food and ten times better.
It’s airport prices but with more fun and flair!
The crispy rice salmon sushi was the standout for me, the cauliflower was okay, nothing special. The pizzas are also really good! Cooked well, good base and variety toppings. Calamari was good, the burrata was okay, the flavors were too sweet and the plain white bread toast was not enough and too basic.

Ambience was awesome!
Squash soup was fair and since there was no spoon available when it was served, it was no longer warm enough.
There are a lot of servers but probably some are on the end of their shift already and not as enthusiastic to provide outstanding service. A suggestion is to add a spoon in the pre-made fork and knife wrapped in the cloth napkin. And another person needs to check orders before it gets served.
