The smoothies are delicious the people are kind, they just take forever to make a smoothie. I called in for a smoothie gave them time and the drink wasn’t even made, they started to make it once I arrived, what’s the sense of taking orders, went in another time I was the only one there, I ordered my smoothie and she legit took 7 mins to make it (I timed it) so frustrating 😩

I ordered a turmeric and ginger shot, a restart it juice, and a calaloo patty. Not only did the order take over an hour and a half to arrive, but it arrived incomplete and incorrect. The calaloo patty was not included, the juice had zero elements of pineapple, ginger, or mint and instead an overwhelming taste of cucumber and spinach. Extremely disappointed in my first experience with this location.

When you really want to support a black-owned health food store, but end up eating the worst açaí bowl you’ve ever had. Presentation in the plastic bowls was poor and the fruit did not look fresh. Service was not helpful nor receptive to conversation on improvement. Instead of addressing that there was barely any açaí in the bowl, the açaí texture was off (very clumpy), and the bowl was overbearingly sweet, the employee just said, “It’s one of our sweetest bowls." I buy and make açaí bowls all the time with honey. This was excessive and unhealthy. Even the orange juice was something completely like no natural juice I've ever had.

Sanaa is the best. She knows my order before I say it, makes my smoothie perfect and never forgets my discount. She also trained new employees to accommodate me in the same manner. She is management material to me with the best customer service I've seen so far. One kid asked me why I be coming so late near closing. I found that to be distasteful. There's a slim dark-skinned guy that works there also who usually knows my order as well.

The first red flag was a young darkskinned female working in what appeared to be a basic t shirt and pajama pants. I ordered two juices and she made one and then proceeded to take the order of the person behind me. As I noticed her begin to make their order before finishing mine, I asked for a refund. She did not even care to ask why I wanted a refund. Unprofessional and careless all across the board. Would never recommend this place ever again. This isn’t simply a bad employee. This stems from bad management.
