Slow employees. They don't have a menu, and i ended up waiting 10 minutes before finding out they don't have espresso drinks yet they have an espresso machine.

Allow yourself time. ! Why It took so long to get a coffee with a cake ? 3 employees busy enjoying laughthing together (cool)and one cashier person looking on her Instagram while “serving “ you (very unpleasant) . The cake is frankly horrible , not fresh and outrageously expensive . Better not to go.

Absolutely horrible people at the counter. The lady took 10 min with just 1 customer and then she was on the phone and super slow. There was a long line and a flight was boarding. Yet they were so rude when I asked to speed it up considering the boarding flight. Glad I did not get anything. Do yourself a favor and do not wait in this line.

Coffee and snacks counter in Terminal 5. Usually a long, slow moving line. When you get to the counter, you had best know exactly what you want and not have any questions because they don’t have the time or patience to be helpful. Just figure it out! And have your credit card out! I asked for milk and sugar and man did they make me regret it. Obviously, all the extras are around the corner behind the mob where you can’t see them! My bad.

They charged $14 for some cookies that were labeled as $6 on the shelf. When I complained about it (and showed this picture), the barista said she "scanned it" and "there was nothing she could do". Also, she said it "wasn't her fault". Apparently you have to double-check your total or they will overcharge you.

Customer service is not great. They're very slow, seemingly occupied doing other things. I waited in line over 20 minutes. I ordered an iced tea and a croissant. I was told, "We don't sell iced tea." I pointed out that it's prominently displayed on every sign. She shrugged. I just looked at her (I think I was expecting some sort of acknowledgement of the misrepresentation... nope). On a positive note, the croissant was fresh.Note to management: you may want to create signs that advertise items you actually sell.

The cheese danish was pretty good (tasted surprisingly fresh), just the cashier that was helping me didn’t know what any of the baked goods on display were and had to ask her coworker. The coworker that knew what the baked goods were was nice, the one checking me out acted like it was exhausting that I had to ask… even though she herself didn’t know. The line did not move fast.I got a packaged chai protein smoothie as well from the fridge, can’t remember the brand but it was really good for a commercially made smoothie. In general I was impressed with the selection of packaged snacks here, but of course it’s airport prices.

Very bad and burned coffee. The pastries are very low quality. I’d expect a better service and higher quality products for 2 18-dollar coffees.Unfortunately, there aren’t many options in JFK.

2 cashiers on their cell phones. We waited 2 minutes and I finally had to say hi. They were not quick to stop and help us. We finally told them we wanted a Cappachino. She looked at the "trainee" and said she will get you and went back on her phone. A third employee walks over with food and another customer and steps in front of us and proceeds to check her out. No one said a word. We turned and left with nothing and were still ignored. Welcome to NYC right?
