Called to place an order for delivery at @ 7:57pm for a half a chicken with fried rice and shrimp lowmein. Called back at 7:58pm to change the shrimp lowmein into a veggie lowmein. I was told they can’t do that because the food was made already. How tf you make shrimp lowmein in one minute but it take 30 min for delivery? Food is good but customer service is trash.

Look, I do not like giving one star reviews. The lowest I ever go is two stars but this place--I hate to say it--is a spot you should just avoid. Yong Sheng (it used to be under a different name until it changed owners) is what I fear a lot of Chinese take-out restaurants turning into. Cutting corners and serving food that has been sitting there, unclean work stations, very VERY subpar food that at times comes out undercooked, and so forth. There's a good reason why they still have a C health rating.This spot before the change of owners used to be my childhood go-to spot for Chinese take-out. Sadly, that's not the case anymore. There are evenings where the chicken wings are already cooked and packaged. If you order chicken wings, they will give you the ones already packaged that have been sitting there. Not fresh at all, lukewarm and you might find some of them undercooked. Undercooked chicken is probably the worst food crime you can commit in my book. The only fresh thing are the french fries.With how unsanitary I've seen the place and how food is just left out to sit out and how horrendous the back looks from the sneak peek you can get, I cannot give this place above one star. You may tell me you can't base off a restaurant off its rating, here's the thing though--you can see the uncleanliness when you walk in and order. You might be able to taste it in the food too.Service is passable, although it's just passable nothing special. You're in and you're out. Haven't had issues with the few times I went.After giving them one last shot, I'm surprised I haven't caught anything or gotten sick. They need to work on their cleanliness and not cut corners with the food. If other Chinese take-out spots can make their food fresh and put effort in keeping the kitchen and working stations clean, so can Yong Sheng.

Absolutely awful. I ordered sesame chicken. It was clear that it was not fresh because it was as soggy. It had sat under a heat lamp for hours. I ordered a certain number soy sauce and duck sauce packs. Didn't bring those. Brought hot sauce didn't order it. Ordered chopsticks, didn't bring them. I ordered a 2 liter of soda. Didn't bring it (only brought 3 cans.). There was no saving grace other the not awful Grub Hub customer service for refunding me the price I paid for the soda. So far, I've three different Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. Awful, low quality food having sat under a heat lamp for hours. The best Chinese take out I've seen is Maxim in woodside. Any time I've had their food, it was freshly made and they always got my order spot on.

Disgusting! These people are so money hungry that they send out Old Food. I order a shrimp and broccoli, chicken wings and apple stick. The rice smelled like rice that had sat out over night. The shrimp smelled fishy. The apple sticks were fried bread with zero apple filling. I was extremely angry because my child had already took a few bites before I realized. People cook your own food or order from quality places. I normally order from a Cantonese place on 101 ave and 110th st but they are closed on Mondays. Their food is always fresh and great tasting.
