Judah’s Pastry Crumb in Jamesport has some genuinely delicious baked goods, their pastries are rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything I’ve tried, from croissants to seasonal tarts, has been high quality and super fresh. Second, the hours are extremely limited. It feels like every time I want to stop by, they’re closed. Whether it’s weekdays, afternoons, or off-season, they just don’t seem to be open consistently, which makes it frustrating if you’re not a local keeping track. Also while the price is a little steep, the baked goods are freshly made with quality so I can understand it.

$23 for 4 turnovers what a ripoff, they were mediocre turnovers too, can do better at the grocery store for 1$ a piece as opposed to $6 🤯

$31 for 4 cookies, 2 hammentaschen and 2 donuts. Cookies were awful, donuts were at least a day old, probably 2, very hard on the outside. Flavor was awful. No one comes to the counter unless you ring the bell, owner comes out in a filthy shirt, no prices listed. Don't mind paying for quality items, these were probably the worst we've ever had, store brands are better. Baffled by the good reviews.

We received a box of their cookies as a hostess gift. They were delicious. The assortment of cookies all had slightly different flavors and textures as compared to every other long island bakery. It's quite an enjoyable and refreshing change. My compliments to the pastry chef. I wish they were located closer to home.

One of the top three bakeries on the North Fork. Chris is a genius. His strudels might be the best on Long Island!

The Guy that says he runs the place, was very rude and dismissive. Which I could’ve gotten past because I’m from Chicago, but his bakery goods are not even good.
Mendum is a place to go for bakery goods

Whent there on Friday afternoon 7/19/24 at 3:30 and they were closed. Apparently they are only open 4 days a week from 9-3. Really? You can't make money when you are closed. By the way, the place looks like a dump.

The lemon meringue pie is the best! The store has a cozy, unpretentious family owned vibe. It’s been a family owned business and thé owner Christopher is very friendly and helpful, willing to chat as you pick out baked goods.Edit: we got an assortment of cookies today. And they are so delicious! I love the grandmas meltaways and the powdered ones with almonds in them the most , but the taste feels so homey and comforting.

First off, I always try to support local business. That being said, I could never recommend Junda's. My wife went in there over the New Years weekend to get an apple strudel. When she came out and I asked her how much it was, she told me $30! And that was for the half size strudel. $30 for apple, cinnamon and dough? I was ready to go back in there to demand my money back, but my kind hearted wife talked me out of it. What a ripoff! Just because these places are out east, they ask outrageous prices for sub-par goods. And there are NO prices posted any where. Do yourself a favor, save your money and find another bakery

Tried to get a cake ordered for a week and was constantly told to call back to speak to owner who never returned a call as the regular staff apparently couldn't take an order for a custom cake on their own. Then got lectured by the owner on calling in advance if i want a special order. Called Blue Duck Bakery and got the cake i wanted in one phone call with no attitude.
