Unpretentious comfort food. If you go away hunger, it will be your own fault.

it’s ok , only went once when they first opened, I think I was just anticipating a little more… IMO the biscuits weren’t anything special and wasn’t a fan of the sausage, probably give it another try sometime…

Nice place we visited before hitting the Riverhead Outlets. Staff was super nice and helpful. Was very excited to try the biscuits, I love biscuits, they were good. I got the biscuits with gravy and fried chicken. It was good but very salty

We have tried several things on the menu and haven’t missed once! Food is really great every time. The kitchen team is clearly strong. Joe is a professional, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, fun to be around. Good operation all around. Obviously this spot is run with genuine a love for food and we should support places like that.

Place is always such an enjoyable time! It’s just down the road from where my parents live and I have to stop myself from going every time we visit.

On our most recent trip my wife and I each got a biscuit with honey butter and chive butter. No better way to start off your meal!

For my main I got the chicken and biscuit and opted to add an egg which I highly recommend. They give you a ton of gravy which is nice because other places that I’ve gone they tend to cheap out on the amount they give you.

My wife got the grilled chicken club which she really enjoyed.

The staff here is extent friendly. Last time we went in the previous summer we had a server named Casey who was extremely attentive and made the whole experience even more enjoyable! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Restaurant was highly overwhelmed by the amount of customers and understaffed. The food was cold, patio was cold. All “hot” food came out and we waited 10 minutes for the last member of our groups order to come out which was simply a biscuit.. food taste was highly disappointing. Biscuits dry & salty. Simple food requests could not be fulfilled. To top off the experience, when getting up from the metal chair, my north face winter jacket ripped on the chair. 10/10 don’t recommend

I’ll preface my review with saying that my food was decent and my experience was fine. However, one of our diners was not happy with their dish. And in their defense, when you write cheddar cheese grits (with no other specifications) on a menu, you don’t expect to taste sweet grits. Especially when you’re having shrimp and grits with chorizo. That being said, whatever, if that’s how they do that’s how they do. Noted. But what really set us off was the hostesses, maybe owner, or manager (we’re not sure her role) response to us expressing that. She was extremely rude to us and weirdly glaring at us most the meal (but kind and welcoming to other patrons who came in after us). When we expressed that my mom didn’t like her grits, she became defensive, said they’ve had this recipe for 9 years and they’re not changing the menu, among other things rude and defensive comments. None of which we were suggesting. Nor were we expecting anything, but she asked how the food was, so we told her. She even spoke to other patrons about us after we went to the bathroom. Now, the food was cold. But whatever. That’s not the issue. I’m not a hard to please person. But this was unacceptable. And I’m from NYC- I know rude and to the point. This was beyond anything I’ve honestly really ever experienced. I read through the reviews and saw mention of a similar person, to which I say if it is the consistent same person, maybe they should consider another role that isn’t people facing. And I read multiple comments about the food being cold. Which was also true for us. Our server was great. The food tasted good to me. The biscuit was yummy, but should have been served warm. Anyway, it’s a cute vibe. And if you order right, I’m sure the experience would be fine. But steer clear of this woman if you can.

Marissa at Main Rd closed the back patio for my wedding breakfast. They offered a variety of boxed breakfast meals, complete with packed fruit, yogurt, and cookies! The food was delicious, and guests were happy to see some healthy options, along with their namesake biscuits! Communication was easy during a busy time of year, and the payment process was seamless. Well run for an event or a breakfast treat!

I feel bad, the staff was nice but service was not good. Staff doesn't communicate with each other. I got a luke warm not even warm, hot chocolate. I asked for cheese with my eggs and they put the cheese on the biscuits not the egg, eggs weren't seasoned no salt or anything so bland. Sadly the biscuit was very dry and bland, when I see buttermilk I expect it so be moist with butter and flavor. The hash brown was alright, very dry and not a lot of flavor and not what I was expecting. Spent $50 for subpar food. They didn't put any forks or knives for our to go order. It's sad for $50, not worth it. Oh the coffee was burnt and tasted horrible.

I was so looking forward to eating here. It’s a nice place with great atmosphere. The service is fast and friendly. I got the eggs benedict with house cured salmon served on a biscuit and was expecting the biscuit to be the star of the show. But to be honest, the biscuit was not good at all. Extremely dry , hard and crumbly. The eggs and salmon were delicious. But for a restaurant that specializes in biscuits, I was very disappointed. My husband had the chocolate chip overnight oat buttermilk pancakes, Two large pancakes, which he loved. Coffee was a little strong for me, but my husband enjoyed his. The place is a little pricey for what we had,$56 for just us two.

Food is good if you want to overpay for eggs and bacon. One of the few decent places in north fork for breakfast. The manager with glasses is very nasty. She should take classes on how to deal with customers

Our favorite breakfast spot, cozy and feels like home. My husband and I also get their shakerado coffee without the alcohol, to die for! We look forward to our visits every summer.
