I was so looking forward to eating here. It’s a nice place with great atmosphere. The service is fast and friendly. I got the eggs benedict with house cured salmon served on a biscuit and was expecting the biscuit to be the star of the show. But to be honest, the biscuit was not good at all. Extremely dry , hard and crumbly. The eggs and salmon were delicious. But for a restaurant that specializes in biscuits, I was very disappointed. My husband had the chocolate chip overnight oat buttermilk pancakes, Two large pancakes, which he loved. Coffee was a little strong for me, but my husband enjoyed his. The place is a little pricey for what we had,$56 for just us two.

Food is good if you want to overpay for eggs and bacon. One of the few decent places in north fork for breakfast. The manager with glasses is very nasty. She should take classes on how to deal with customers

Our favorite breakfast spot, cozy and feels like home. My husband and I also get their shakerado coffee without the alcohol, to die for! We look forward to our visits every summer.

Amazing. This is how every food business should be. Clean farm fresh food in a small manageable atmosphere
Fantastic food!
Outstanding, interesting brunch menu, delightful service, terrific food, what's not to love? I have a second home nearby and eat here on most of my visits and recommend it to everyone.

We had breakfast here a few days ago and returned today just for coffee. The food is excellent, but the coffee is mediocre. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing both times.
On our first visit, all three servers seemed to be having a bad day—unfriendly and inattentive, despite the café not being busy. We had to repeatedly ask for basic things and eventually went up to the counter ourselves because we got tired of waiting.
We gave it another try, hoping it was just an off day, but the experience was nearly identical. It’s hard to tell if the staff are not being treated well or if this is just the usual service standard. Even the manager or owner, who was present during our first visit, came across as surprisingly rude.
It’s a shame, because the food really is great—but the overall atmosphere makes it hard to want to come back.

The place is very quaint but here are the issues. We have been here several times always trying to give this place a second chance but this one time was the last.
The service is horrible. No ownership around and the place wasn't busy and the servers were gathered by kitchen talking and socializing to the person in the kitchen. Our server was unfriendly, slightly miserable like she didn't want to be there. Person 2 tables away was upset his food was taking so long server gave him an attitude, the table next to me they were complaining about how terrible the food was and on the otherside of us they complained the order was not correct and the server did not seem to care and forgot not once, not twice but 3 times to bring some bread that was requested. Needless to say all 3 tables left upset and unsatisfied. Our experience was bad in a different way. My wife came home and got immediately sick at both ends...I'll assume food poisoning...she had a feeling that something didn't taste right regarding her meal. I did not get sick but hated the whole experience with the disinterested server who looked miserable. Don't waste your time, don't waste your money here much better options on the North Fork.
You've been warned.

I have been going to Main Road since inception and really got to know Marissa! She is amazing and her food is just as amazing! She’s so courteous to me and my family and love her back story (which I encourage you to ask or read about).
Highly recommend you eat here!!!

Cute cafe style restaurant in a cute small town, there was a bit of a wait but the food was great!
Tried two things, first was the Duck Hash which was nice. It wasnt that filling but the flavor was tasty, like a more tender hash brown and the egg on top was nice.
Second was the Crab Cake Bennie which was divineeee. All the layers to the dish come together so well and you get a hint of that crab / seafood taste with some tanginess and egginess idk it was just so good and the biscuits here are amazinggggg. I could eat a few biscuits on their own as my meal.

Came here for Sunday brunch while visiting a few wineries in the area. Made a previous reservation online. Our group of 6 was seated in the backyard area. This space is covered with a tent. Felt a bit hot because it was a warm sunny day. Our waitress was great. She was super friendly and helpful. She got all our orders correct and kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything else. The service really makes this place. The food is good. The portions are big. The oatmeal pancakes can be shared among four people. Scones were a bit salty. The ambiance could use some updating. The backyard could be more inviting. This cafe is a good option. Would recommend.
