While mostly open for the 9 week season in the summer, they can't get this restaurant going full speed ahead. Last year lunch was pleasant with salad, soup & 1/2 sandwich but not open this year except bar. A burger is $22 for dinner. Main course does not include salad but 2 asparagus were! The servers are pleasant but slow paced. Wait in line to get a table, but lots of empty tables inside. This place could be wonderful if only some tweaks & would be welcomed for...
It’s tucked away on the lower level next to the spa. They have an inside dining room where we sat, plus an outside patio. Very nice. The lobster and crab cake appetizer was excellent. Hubby and I shared twin filets with risotto and asparagus. Excellent. There is an $8 plate charge for sharing. Our friends had salmon and said it was very good. A lovely restaurant conveniently located at Chautauqua, serving excellent Italian food. Vegetarian selection is a wonderful benefit. Wait staff friendly, and the manager demonstrates his operatic voice in the courtyard!
