Roomy, clean, mostly quiet. Sound travels and I love that the windows open so you can get the fresh air off the lake, but we could hear these guys that were in town for a golf event partying all night long down below. I could have called to complain but I just ended up closing the window after a while. But the bed and room were very comfortable and clean with lots of extra blankets.
The staff at this location do an excellent job. This is NOT a franchise so it has to be good.
The restaurant at this site was full on Friday 9/11/26 because locals know where to eat.
Everything was clean and extra linen was provided in ten minutes when requested. Rates were reasonable, but add in the contanental breakfast for two and this overnight stay was a bargain.

The shuttle to and from the Chautauqua Institute was convenient.
Rooms were nice but felt a little dated. Our couch wasn't very comfortable. Oddly we only had soap for a sink or bathroom, but not both.
The breakfast was decent, but it was weird that we had to heat up the microwave sandwiches and there was only one microwave in a dimly lit corner. It was about the same as a gas station sandwich.

Chautauqua Suites Hotel & Expo Center offers a great dining experience, featuring excellent food with a focus on burgers and wings, alongside a happy hour from 4p-7p. The hotel is clean and efficient, boasting spacious rooms, some equipped with double beds and multiple bathrooms. Guests have enjoyed the nice continental breakfast, although some would prefer it to extend until at least 10am. The expo hall can accommodate various group sizes. The hotel's restaurant and bar provide tremendous food and drinks, including nightly specials and specialty drinks. The restaurant also offers a live music scene, which enhances the overall atmosphere. Visitors have found the staff very friendly and accommodating, making the stay more enjoyable. The restaurant's environment and the beautiful surroundings make it a great place for both relaxation and exploration, especially during the summer months. Additionally, the venue’s location across from Chautauqua Lake provides plenty of activities nearby, perfect for a getaway.
