“This place is a foodies dream. The food is excellent and creative. The atmosphere is so chic. The hand crafted cocktails are delish but also pretty. And I love all their special events especially the brunches with bottomless mimosas!Vegetarian options: Many delicious meatless options- especially recommend the truffle honey pizza!”
“Such a fun spot! They have tons of beers, everything brewed on site. The Oh Fudge stout was our favorite. Located in a really cool refurbished barn. Phenomenal service. A must try if you're in the area!”
“Outstanding lemonade for a very reputable price. These little girls work so hard to make their homemade lemonade. Made with fresh spring water and real fruit. What a great thirst qencher on a hot summer day.”
“My husband & I were visiting the Chautauqua area and every other restaurant we went to was closed on a Saturday no less. We stopped at Docks by chance. The decor is not fancy but our meal was excellent and the service was great! We would definitely go here again.”
“Good ice cream but they lie on there menu small 1 scoop, medium 2 scoops, and large 3 scoops and that is a lie. The small is the size of 3 scoops the medium is 6 scoops and a large is as big as a football”
“A quaint, charming, cheap bar. Old school. Lazy dog included in the decorations. Outdoor pavilion with games, indoor pool table. Decent selection of cold beers in the old school fridge and a nice selection of pub grub.”
“What an amazing place to go. The place looked amazing and the aesthetic was outstanding. The service was great and just seeing how they treat you is an experience in itself. But the best part was the food. I can't describe how delicious it was. Keep it up!”
“The food was good overall. I had the chicken piccata and it wasn't what I expected. Just wanted to try something different. Should have gotten the prime rib since it is delicious. Service was great and the restaurant is beautiful inside and out.”
“A Very pleasant experience. Great Food, Great Service, Great atmosphere! Highly recommended if you love good-old country style breakfasts, or some newer idea choices, or a sweet roll you'll need a take out container to bring the other half home (THEY ARE HUGE)! Great place!!”
“Drove by at least 100 times. Decided to stop as my wife was hungry. Literally enjoyed everything about the place. My chicken pot pie was so good I took their buy 10 get one free offer. Spent $35 on brunch and another $120 to go. I'll be back next Spring for sure. Oh yeah the owner stayed late so I could retrieve my forgotten cell phone. Highly recommend reservations and recommend through and through. Mike”
“Excellent coffee shop! I have been to many coffee shops around the country and this one is my top favorite. Truly friendly people. Always smiling, patient and helpful. The food is excellent as well as the coffee. The prices are very reasonable. They are appropriately staffed so no long wait times or unhappy looking employees. The atmosphere is inviting. You can play a board game with your kid, read a book or just sit outside under a table and enjoy the sun. Outside they even have a dog bowl filled with water for fur babies. My complaint is the noise. It’s an old building with high ceilings so all the noise gets trapped and feels like it’s just bouncing around. Definitely hard on the ears!Wheelchair accessibility: It is spacious enough to accommodate a wheelchair. No electric doors. There is only one bathroom which could be tricky to maneuver into.”
“Let me paint the picture for you. We walked in and to the left are 5 older gentleman having coffee and chatting away. Soft music playing and the bakery items right straight ahead. You know it’s a local favorite. We went headed over and found a seat. One waitress and she knew the names of the customers. She was quick to get our drinks and take our order. We had the French toast muffins. She answered all our questions and was very personable. You could tell she liked her job. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the service was excellent. We will definitely be making the trip again to eat here.”
“We stopped in over the summer for brunch and everything was delicious. The Iced Chai Latte was to die for, have to try their Oreo truffles. Vibe was cute, will go back whenever in town.”
“I was so excited to discover that our airbnb was only 8 minutes from Portage Pie while we were visiting NY for the solar eclipse. I've been a fan of owner Connie's posts in a pie baking community on Facebook for many years, so it was serendipitous that I was so close to her shop without even knowing it. We arrived on Sunday morning right at 11 when they opened. I was worried the selection would be limited since we did not pre-order, but they had many extra fruit pies and cream pies for us to choose from. We got an apple crumb and a cherry pie. The crust is so crispy, and the fruit fillings taste fresh and just like homemade. Our cherry pie was still warm when we got it. I highly recommend Portage Pie for quality that is so hard to find in modern-day bakeries!”
“Great food and reasonable prices, in a casual, friendly, atmosphere. Service is consistently excellent. The food is always very good and comes in generous portions.”
“Only found Red's a few years ago (before COVID hit). I love the food although the sausage has a flavor that doesn't appeal to me. Syrup, cakes, juice, coffee all outstanding!Parking: A basic rural dirt parking area and country roadside parking with caution”
“Felt so welcome when visiting during a rainy March weekday. My daughter and I shared a flight and Bavarian pretzels. This location is exactly what you want a winery tasting location to be like: large, open seating area with a large bar in the center; clean and shiny floors, walls, furniture; smiling faces who are willing to chat and discuss the wines; a gift shop with branded souvenir items, and just all around cozy environment even though it’s really large. They’re building an addition for events and more summer activities, so I look forward to visiting again during the summer.”
“Larry's is a pillar of the community in Westfield! No frills, Cash only (there's an ATM just inside the door), simple but excellent bar food that comes out hot and fast! Their wings are incredible - I recommend the "Bernie's Special Sauce" On any given night there can be 2 - 40 people. There's the bar to the right that seats about 10, maybe 12? Then a bunch of tables/hightops/standing shelves. Bartenders are quick, nice, no-nonsense. No fancy cocktails here, basic brews, spirits, and great food! Light bar fare, burgers/wings/fried apps maybe a fish sandwich here and there. If you like wings and hometown bars, stop in for an hour and take in the scene. Only open evenings.”
“Steak with Whiskey Cream Sauce, mash potatoes and snow peas. And a raspberry pie with vanilla ice cream. Amazing food, drinks and great service!!Parking: Free street parking out front or free parking lot around back”
“What a charming and elegant place in Westfield! I would definitely visit again for great music and cocktails. A must-visit if you are looking for quality night life in Lake Erie wine belt.”
“Friendly bartenders. Cheap drinks. Pool table. They don’t serve food anymore but you can order from Lena’s next door and they will bring it to you at the bar.”
“Everything was excellent. Food was great, so was service. Right close along rr tracks, trains come thru fast. Can't wait to come here again and get a patio seat. Train Action!!”
“Amazing food, great manager, great staff. I highly suggest trying the frozen Chai and Stop Me it's like a morning treat in a cup.Parking: There is a parking lot and drive-thru around back. The parking lot has 35+ spaces, and there is plenty of free street parking.Kid-friendliness: The management and staff are incredibly nice to my kid and offer a small play area for the kids to have some fun in. My kid always gets excited when we dine in.”
“I absolutely love this place! The fresh cut curly fries are amazing, and I always get a really good hot dog. The ice cream is also amazing and they make the best sundaes!”
“This is the best little bar I've ever been to - from owner to server to patrons - great hometown atmosphereThe patio is large, has a fire ring, and a stage and when there's live music the place rocks.Inside is cozy, and sometimes they host a paint party or other fun.Good bar food and great pours - can't be beat.”
“I was extremely comfortable and felt at home. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the staff is extremely attentive. The food was delicious, especially the fries. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend ?”
“Their Valentine’s Day Special was amazing! The food was to die for! Steak was absolutely amazing as were the sides. The bread pudding was wonderful! Bri’s service was outstanding as was PJ’s assistance!”
“A true local place with great service and a surprisingly large menu. We spent two comfortable hours here on a snowy Saturday and enjoyed every minute. The waitress was super nice with a refreshing sense of humor. We had a party of 6 and all enjoyed the food and beer selection.”
“Fun place near Lake Erie in the Westfield area, unique menu ( e.g.fried green tomatoes, homemade pies, seafood). Very nice waitress and outdoor seating that allows well behaved dogs.Vegetarian options: Very good grilled cheese sandwich!”
“We just had brunch here today, all of the food was delicious. Home made soups with lots of flavor, and delicious sandwiches. ? The service was also EXCELLENT! Family owned business that cares about its customers.”
