I love coming here for halal- chicken and rice or chicken and lamb combo over rice. I also enjoy their falafel. The flavors are so good! Now you can also request extra sauce for an additional charge. Perfect for me to have extra hot sauce! The food is delicious come give them a try. I didn’t get a picture of the falafel my bf orders with his, but the outside is so beautifully crisp and the inside is soft and flavorful.

Last night, while traveling through Rochester, NY, our daughter casually asked, “Do you want to stop at Halal Bites?” The answer was an easy yes — and we’re glad we did.
We ordered their recommended mixed grill platter, which came with beef, lamb, and chicken kebabs, along with a chicken shawarma and a samosa to round things out. From the moment the trays hit the table, the aromas told us we were in for something special. The mixed grill was generous and beautifully presented: juicy, well-seasoned chicken, hearty beef, and the real standout — the grilled lamb. Tender, flavorful, and cooked just right, the grilled lamb alone is reason enough to come back.
The chicken shawarma wraps were comforting and satisfying, packed with spiced meat and served alongside creamy garlic sauce and bright, crunchy pickled vegetables. Those pickles deserve a special mention — tangy, refreshing, and the perfect contrast to the smoky grilled meats. And if you enjoy heat, do not skip their hot sauce. It brings serious spice with great depth of flavor — addictive in the best way.
The samosa was crisp on the outside, warm and savory inside, making it a perfect starter or side. Beyond the food, what really stood out was how clean the restaurant was and how friendly and welcoming the staff were — always a big plus when dining as a family.
Halal Bites is one of those places that delivers on flavor, portions, and hospitality. If you’re passing through Rochester and craving satisfying, well-executed halal comfort food, this spot is absolutely worth the stop.

People are great and provide good service. Fish over rice was delicious. My briyani quality was good but definitely not an authentic one. Overall, good experience and very reasonable price.
Forgive the ugly photos - this chicken tikka over rice is so freaking good. They did such a nice job packaging the delivery order. Super fresh salad on the side. Spicy green and red sauces taste fresh and bright. White sauce is also fresh and herby. So impressed with the portion size. I could never finish this in one meal. Highly recommended. Don’t bother with the pita, btw, it’s store bought. Naan is fantastic and great value for $2.50!

Best empanada I've ever had. Food is ready almost immediately. Decent baklava as well. The chicken tikka is easily 2 meals. The whole reason I went is because a buddy at work brought his leftovers one day and it looked amazing. Will be back many, many times.
