Mooney's Sports Bar & Grill

Ordered a chicken finger sub from here. I have had them multiple times from their buffalo locations and have never had one complaint. This was hands down the worst sub I have ever had. The small amount of lettuce was brown, the cheese was gross, the onions were diced instead of sliced. They should consult the other locations to lean how to properly build this sub. I threw half of it out.

Our waitress was above and beyond. She really took care of our 2 tables and was so kind!

I came here with friends and our waitress was lovely. The food took some time and when it arrived everything looked great. We each got something different. The buffalo chicken wrap was tasty, if you’re a heat seeker go ahead and get it spicy, you won’t notice, I added my own hot sauce on it too. The taco salad looked like it came straight from The Little Mermaid it looked like a giant clam shell, we were all in awe looking at it. Very cool. I wish I took pictures of all of our meals. Another friend ordered a burger and needed to request mayo and then added ketchup and mustard to it. She said she liked the burger. Lastly, a friend ordered and enjoyed the deli salad (sliced cold cut salad) they call it CiCi or CeCe or something similar on the menu with a mac and cheese side. She said everything was delicious and, while I was hesitant tbh after reading other reviews, everything looked really good and we all enjoyed our meals.

Been here twice. Neither times did I eat.

The first time they decided to close early by over an hour, and we were turned away…and the second time today we stood by the hostess stand for almost ten minutes never to be greeted or acknowledged, the entire dining room was empty but only a few people at the bar.

Sorry Mooney’s, we tried but this relationship is one sided, so we’re through. I’m taking the kids and the dog. :(

For us going in with 10 people from work, we got seated quickly and the service from then on was great. They got our team well taken care of! We all ordered a variety of dishes and everyone had a blast and enjoyed their food. The only leftovers after everyone ate each other's food was from the guys who ordered two meals to take home😂 definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Mac and cheese!

I should've known when I saw how dead it was on a Friday night that something was up.
I've eaten here several times over the past few years. The BBQ Mac has always been my go-to, and the apps are always good.
Tonight, it was the worst food I've ever had. I got the nachos with chicken, and not only were the chips sub-par at best, the chicken was dry & less season than a midwestern middle-aged mom's boiled chicken breast. I'm almost positive the Hawk-Tuah girl could spit more than the amount of Malibu that was in my drink, & the chicken caesar salad made an expired salad kit with the mystery 'grilled chicken chunks' sound like a five-star entree.
I'm a self proclaimed fatass & disgustingly polite, so I never /don't/ eat my meal (mostly because I've never had food that bad). Tonight? I left Mooney's and went right to IHOP because I had three bites and couldn't stomach anymore.
The only positive was that our service was amazing, but spending $63 dollars just to have to go eat somewhere else is some baby-back-bullshit.

On 5/6/2025 I asked the server for vegetarian options for my mother she had an attitude n said she can’t think of any but when I turned the second page of the menu there was a veggie wrap right in the middle of the page that was the first red flag 🚩second I ordered the “BOMB” sandwich it was supposed to have banana peppers on it but I didn’t get any, instead I got flavorless meat drenched in mozzarella cheese. Dont get me wrong I love cheese but the fact that the bread was already drenched in garlic butter in combination with all the cheese was disgusting. The description on the menu sounds great but it was so greasy and lacked flavor, I had to take a few bites and throw it out I couldn’t even take it home. They need to change the grease because the fries tasted disgusting. I’m not a picky eater and I appreciate anything god gives me but this was one of my worst dining experiences. I worked in fine dining for many years in NYC and this is my first google review. No restaurant has ever inspired me to express my opinion. The best interaction was the lady that greeted us but our server was terrible it cost 0$ to smile 💯

If you like macaroni and cheese this place has it all. You can get a different kind of Mac and cheese every time you come. They also have burgers,wings, salads, appetizers and more. My daughter loves their PB and Jelly bacon burger and I have to say it is so good. My son likes their wings. If you are out and about in the Binghamton area check it out.

Delicious! I had onion petels (horse radish sauce was superb), bacon cheese burger macaroni and cheese (great flavor and such a huge portion - saved some for later), and the stuffed peppers (peppers were mighty spicy but super yummy).

We got an appetizer , CBR Mac and Cheese, and Lobster Mac and cheese plus left a 15$ tip and the total was $65. Which is not bad at all. The food was also so good. Without a doubt the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had , lots of different flavors to choose from . What tasted like homemade ranch for the appetizer and CBR Mac and cheese . Very tasty.

Customer service was solid . They were nice, kept checking on us, got refills when we were out. No complaints there.

Also portions are HUGE. I could barely finish half the mac and cheese, and I only got a small size.

10/10 bring your dates , sports buddies , families whatever .

My fiancé and I finally decided to try Mooney's after many recommendations. We sat at the bar and ordered one drink while we waited for our food. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Mac & Cheese and my fiancé tried the Corned beef Reuben sandwich. Everything was delicious and we will be returning again and again! The bartender took our order, she was very kind and helpful with the questions we asked about the menu. The drinks were perfect also! Thank you, Mooney's and crew.

I dined in on a Friday afternoon, enjoying their Fish Fry Friday meal ($18) and a nice cold Heineken ($4). My service was fast & friendly. The food was very tasty but not hot when it arrived to my table.
Also I was charged for a condiment (hot sauce).
Nowhere was it listed that it would be an EXTRA charge ($1) for a few shakes of hot sauce!
This kind of upset me because of the hidden charge for a condiment whereas in any other restaurant would be on the table for your use.
I'm not sure what other hidden fees they have that they may spring on the customer, (maybe ice, or any other condiment that is not already out on the table) but I will definitely ask that I be told of any extra fees before being served, Something the waitress should have informed me of when ordered anyway.
BUT.....
Being that the customer service was awesome and the food was tasty, I will visit again and just request that my food be served hot and of course go with my own hot sauce in my bag!

Parking: The the parking lot it's really rough (pot holes) and ragged with no clear signage of the entrances and exits

This is the first time at this Mooney's location and I can understand why this one was dead. The mac and cheese while still good had about 1/4 of the usual meat in it for both the lobster Mac and the stinger. And the portion sizes seem smaller compared to other locations we have been to.
