Delicious. Every time I come here, never disappoints. Ordered the salmon burger tonight, it was the best I've ever had. The meatloaf is also excellent.

After a quick appointment in the Bronx, we decided to take a ride upstate and see the changing of the leaves. The weather is changing and the leaves are very colorful in this area. I checked yelp for a breakfast restaurant and KR Cafe came up. Let's do this. The area is very quaint, I good feeling here, with all kinds of shops, restaurants and a cute train station. But the restaurant... very small. We had s table that could barely fit us, and people were always bumping into us. But we're here for the food so let's get it on. The good: I had the "Lemon Ricotta Pancakes ". Who would have thought. These were very good, and very filling. Came with "Strawberry Butter", also pretty good. I would definitely have these again. The Bad: my wife ordered the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and cream cheese. She also ordered English muffin for bread. Her plan was to put the salmon and cream cheese on the muffin and eat it with her eggs. Surprise. The smoked salmon and cream cheese came mixed in with the scrambled eggs. Didn't look good and more importantly didn't taste good. They should explain this on their menu or better yet take it off the menu. After breakfast we took a walk around the neighborhood. Still very quaint and yes I'd go back but definitely not for the eggs and salmon.

Friendly efficient staff, great food on hot plates served in a timely manner. Coffee and cocktails are the best. Great prices. A fun place.

Very disappointed in my experience today. My date ordered avocado toast with burrata and asked if the egg could be over hard instead of sunny side up. When the wrong meal came out our waiter argued with us that it was what she ordered. It was not what she ordered, but even if it was, imagine being treated this way. Definitely not worth the $$$.

Everything was amazing, the staff was very courteous. The atmosphere felt like we were on vacation in a quaint town on an American road trip. The food was also delicious and it came along with great service and beautiful smiles. My family will definitely be back!!

Stopped in for an early dinner with my wife, daughter and granddaughter. Started off ok with good food. Waited almost 30 minutes to have our plates cleaned. Had to stop an employee to do so .Waited over 40 minutes with no dessert served. Got up and left with no dessert. Nice way to end a birthday meal for my daughter. Really looked like no one was in charge.

Nice quiet diner in a quaint area. Coffee cups are never left empty here. Pancakes and omelettes are great!

We reluctantly went for an early dinner - bad move. The service was horrible (mumbling teens who were clearly disinterested and annoyed), there was a single blond hair on my burger (which was actually delicious - the burger, that is), and they kept turning on music at the loudest volume possible (I think they were trying to figure out the system) without apology or explanation. There are great diners employing high schoolers that are great family places; this is not one of them.

I love this diner. I'm from Brooklyn, for what it's worth, and I feel like this place is one of those gems in Katonah that is welcoming to all classes and just a little bit hip without being *hipster- or yuppie- hip*, not at all snooty. Usually go there for breakfast or brunch, and it's always tasty and reasonably priced, though that's not to say cheap. The staff are always cool and down to earth. And often, though not always, they're playing alternative or indie rock, which is pretty amazing to hear in northern Westchester! If they're reading this: keep playing that indie rock-- it makes me so happy.
