I've been going for years and I've never had a bad experience. I was happy when they came to Kenmore because that's a lot closer for me, but now that they're back in Sanborn, I guess I have a reason to go return my Hoover milk glass bottles, lol. As good as the food and service is, you know what nobody ever talks about? How good the music selection is in there. I love going in there and listening to all my best memories. Whoever picks the music, keep up the fantastic work!
This place is the best. I usually get the Chino or their specials. Just had a chopped cheese called the Spanish Harlem. It was fantastic. I find myself craving this place daily at around 11am because it is so good.
Might have had the best sandwich of my life.

Tortuga Sandwich Shop is a restaurant with an amazing, exotic, and completely delicious menu. The sandwiches are among the best ever had, with the Chivito (steak), Morales (chicken), Phoenix (turkey), and Ybor all receiving high praise. The Ybor is described as out of this world and mind blowing. The fries in the different styles are a show stopper, the wedge fries are well seasoned and tasty, and the house chips are good, similar to BBQ chips. Even the free side of chips are awesome. The chocolate dessert is mind blowing and super good. Portions are large and the food is fresh made. The food and service are good, and the service is perfect. The cashier is friendly. The music selection is fantastic. There are some tables to sit at but nothing fancy. The location can be missed if you don't pay attention, so put this place on your radar and stop in. It is a ton of food, and the only problem is how full you will be.
