Great local spot! Food is delicious and also different than what you typically find in upstate New York. Everything has a Caribbean twist and the food is super flavorful. They have a tasting menu on Thursday nights that is very reasonably priced ($65 for four courses) with an optional wine pairing and when we were there they had a live DJ playing Caribbean jams. It’s a vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly - the bartender might have been the nicest my husband and I have ever...
Plain and simple ...this place requires too many obligations of its servers...they're pulled in too many directions( who is the host/hostest, who serves, who busses the tables...in short everyone). The kitchen also should pick a direction (they can clearly cook well)...why have a tasting menu and an ala cart at the same time...too many things too consider meaning corners get cut and quality sacrificed. My food lacked a lot of salt...do fewer things and do them well
Delicious, nice balanced flavors, I was floored. We loved the Colombian queso (we had it with pretzels but I'd get it with the yucca fries next time - SO GOOD), beet carpacio, and a chicken dish that was so crispy with cheese and side of potatoes/spinach covered in the best citrus sauce. We loved it.
Side notes- a bunch of reviewers here flagged high prices...? We paid about $45 each total with tip. Maybe this is a little high compared to some other local...
