My Grandmother has passed and I am constantly on the hunt for pierogi that are just like hers. Helena's is as close as I can get. They are made with love, by hand and with care. You meet Helena's mom working the counter and feel the genuine and heartfelt concern, not only for the food they make but for you their customer. I make a trip, over an hour, at least twice a year and load up on the best tasting pierogi in and around the Hudson valley. If you like pierogi, it's a must try.”

Perfect dessert after a family 4 hour hike around Minnewaska Park and up to Gertrude’s nose. The pup cup was nice. Vanilla ice cream with peanut butter topping and two dog biscuits. A large size for small dogs.
The peanut butter and coffee ice cream (for humans) was delicious. Bae went with a sundae she saw in Google Maps photos. The guy remembered making it from years ago.”
