I had the pleasure of visiting Kerhonkytonk a couple of weeks ago and it is probably the most wonderful place I have ever been. I wish I could remember our server's name, but I would very much like to be best friends with her and I hugged her upon leaving. The owner (I believe his name is Dennis) was the kindest man I've ever met and he picked us a bouquet of flowers from the beautiful garden in the back. I ran down the hill to see the creek and the rolling hills and the turning leaves and it was in that moment I knew fall had arrived. Our plates were perfect. I grew up vegetarian, but I don't think I will ever go back after eating at Kerhonkytonk. And if I did, I would still eat their garlic spinach and cornbread every single day. If I ever get married, I would love to have my wedding there. Hell, I wouldn't mind being buried there. It gives me so much hope to know a place like this still exists.

Food is really good, real smoked. Friendly staff. Enjoyed ribs and chicken with mac and cheese, coleslaw. Really lemonade, very refreshing.

Went there yesterday for lunch, it wasn’t busy at all. Walked in and one of the workers told us to sit wherever we want and they would be right with us to take our order. 20 minutes go by and didn’t have one person come to our table. They would walk by and just look at us but not a single word was said. Just before we left, I went up to the counter to try to order, just to see. We already made up our minds we weren’t staying. So of course someone came up right away. After that I told them what happened and left.
Super disappointed. We’ve been here many times and the food and service were always great. We came recently and were told to sit down at table and someone would be right with us. After waiting 15 minutes, watching the wait look at us and walk away and having them go to other tables that sat down after us we left. Very disappointed because we were looking forward to good bbq food like in the past. Unfortunately we will not be returning.
the food was delicious! the bbq brisket and pulled pork was so tender and juicy; the cole slaw and collard greens was also delicious ; the service was also wonderful :) can’t beat this place after a hike

Food was terrible. Ate here several times a few years ago and was so excited to return today… very disappointing.. the ribs had no flavor, beans tasted like canned beans, the cornbread tasted awful, buttermilk fried chicken sandwich had no flavor and was dry, pulled pork had no flavor and had several bones and even the fries were dry and had no flavor.. what happened? The food used to be so good. A positive was that the waitress was pleasant and attentive.

Stopped in here after visiting a local nursery. Food was really tasty and generous portions (especially the onion rings). We had the fried chicken sandwich (reminded me of a pork tenderloin sandwich with the chicken pounded flat) and my wife had the brisket sandwich (a bit more lean than she likes but still really good). Staff and waitress was really nice and attentive

Super cute roadside bbq spot :) We had a nice plate of bbq chicken & pulled pork with mac and cheese and corn bread. There wasn't any dancing when we visited, but looks like they had square dancing nights!

Delicious BBQ! Has vegetarian options as well. Got takeout, and it was an easy two meals of food.
