Hands down one of the top notch spots for pizza in NYC. Saw this place few years ago on TV - Diners&Drives.

Must eat imo is the pesto pizza. Lot of ppl were getting the plain with extra sauce, pepperoni, beef pepperoni etc.

Verdict - must visit and worth the hike from wherever.

Nothing about this place stands out except the attitude. The service was disappointing, and the pizza was average at best. I don’t understand all the hype.

One of the best pizzas in NY. Only problem is that its so good it’s always busy and you have to wait. Update: Still, The best pizza in NYC, hands down, no competition when it comes to taste.

Danny’s House of Pizza was a solid stop to try while in NYC. The pizza had good flavor and it’s easy to see why people enjoy it but personally I think there are better options if you’re looking for the best New York style slice. I’m still glad I gave it a try and it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area to decide for yourself.

During my visit yesterday, I had an interaction with a heavy set employee who insulted me in Spanish by calling me “demented.” There is no excuse for speaking to customers that way. Regardless of the circumstances, customers should be treated with basic respect.

If you’re a regular here you know who I’m speaking about. This is not the first time it’s happened either.

What makes this frustrating is that the rest of the staff have always been professional and respectful. You can tell they work hard and are simply trying to do their jobs. This review is not directed at them.

I’ve been a customer of Dani’s Pizza for a long time and have always spoken highly of this place, which makes this review especially disappointing.

If other customers have experienced similar treatment, I encourage them to share their experiences as well.
