I love this cafe’s lighting and drinks. I enjoy the food but a personal take, I wish they would make the whole menu gluten free since it looks like they would only have to switch to an alternative bread and granola to do so. Their mocha donuts are delicious.

This place is awesome. A little slice of Brooklyn like coffee spot in lovely Kinderhook. Excellent food and drink in a warm and open atmosphere. Abuts The Aviary a delicious restaurant for dinner.

Stopped here during a bike trip along the Empire State Trail and it was just delightful! The food was delicious (we tried a breakfast sandwich), the coffee was excellent and the service was great. There’s also an adorable shop next door called OK pantry that is a great place to check out too! And I should mention we bought a mochi donut to enjoy later on the bike ride and OMG it was amaaaaazing!!!

A very pretty little cafe that serves tasty and thoughtfully conceived food with some SE Asian elements, like breakfast sandwiches with lemongrass in the sausage. Servings are small, and seating is scant, but you're here to go "oooh, how nice!!" not to stuff your face (not that there's anything wrong with that). I've popped in here a couple of times and have enjoyed everything I've tried. The interior is beautiful, but the seats outside seem like they'd be the best in the house when the weather's nice. Service was nice and friendly. I'd definitely visit again, though not if I was desperate to sit down for a while -- it's small enough and popular enough that a seat can be hard to get.

Yummy, mild sweet-potato cinnamon roll. Nothing amazing, just a solid not-too-sweet cinnamon roll that I probably wouldn't get again. The cafe itself is adorable and hip though, straight out of Brooklyn.

The best latte I have had in a long time. Great espresso flavor and rich creamy foam.

Lovely space, charming locale, superb frittata and salad lunch, prompt and friendly service. We will be back soon for dinner at the adjacent Aviary eatery.

•This review is solely for the bathroom•-4/5 ⭐️-MB’s bathroom is spacious, has very flattering and soothing lighting, and these beautiful green tile walls. It feels like a calm experience where you can take your time, however there are not multiple stalls so it would be rude to do so.The bathroom floor is a little disappointing in comparison to the walls, mirror, and light fixture. However it is clear that a lot of specific care went into this bathroom.

Donuts! Really, really good pastries and other baking. Go here. It's the best. They'll serve you cheerily even if you haven't stepped foot in Brooklyn for years. They're that open-minded! (Yes it's hipster-ish, but not snooty. Come as you are, really.) Limited lunch menu: Thai curry or . . . Thai curry.

The other day, the coffees were lovely, barista was friendly and efficient, but it did not seem like a place I’d want a friend to work. Management was visibly and audibly disrespectful of her. Not the first time I’ve seen the same here, but compelled to review, as it seems to be systemic. Also, are they understaffed? Maybe because of …? Who are these people that feel comfortable being that kind of boss in 2022?

The kitchen was closed the morning of my visit...but there were 3 pastry offerings available. I had a savory butternut and Gouda turnover- which was tasty. The cappacino was frothy and well crafted. Prices were in line with the "new Kinderhook" scene. As a longtime member of the old treasure shop staff (in several capacities over the years) I had to satisfy my curiosity- which I did. The interior is rather austere and not overly welcoming - but the young man working (alone it appeared) was extremely pleasant!

Amazing food!!! Great space! And a really chill vibe. Fantastic addition to this corner of Columbia County.
