Beautiful farm. Great fall vibes. They had a great selection of pumpkins (carved pumpkins pictured are from this farm) delicious apple cider made from their apples. Overall had a great time and left happy.
Good variety of pumpkins. Charged $5 per person to enter PYO. They offer a 10% discount if you spend over $20 on produce, but who knows if we got it. They calculate what you owe and don't show you or offer a receipt. We went in inside for ice cream, and when I looked up for a list of offerings and pricing, there was a giant list of license plate #s that was labeled
"caught stealing" and "no entry allowed." We will go elsewhere next year. Too many changes, none of the feels.
Plenty of apples to pick when we went. $1 a pound.
They search your vehicle when you check out and it’s pretty weird. They got TSA grade security checks up in this place lol. The guy even opened up my spare tire compartment and left it open(I noticed after I got home). Might as well have given me a strip search at that point too
Great apple cider . No preservatives!
The orchard was awesome! My family had a fantastic time picking apples, and the experience was even better than we imagined. The atmosphere was beautiful, the apples were plentiful, and we all enjoyed a perfect day outdoors. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable family outing!
My family loves Samascott! There’s no corn maze, tractor rides or farm animals to feed. It is an orchard with LOTS of choices to pick. You can drive through the orchard which is expansive. I like this so much more than some of the competitors. Many competitors are so busy, that you’re bumping into other families. Samascott has a different feel. They also have chestnuts trees which is another huge draw for my family as it’s very unique. We will continue to return every year!
The flier claims about seedless grapes, but the grapes are very much seeded and sour. It is deceiving and cheating the unsuspecting customes. See the photos.
very friendly staff and such a one up from normal apple picking! my boyfriend and i had a great time driving around and choosing out fruits/veggies. it was amazing and very educational as we didn't know how a lot of veggies were grown.
Been going for years and it’s a wonderful orchard. However my family went today with my black lab, and was politely told pets were not allowed. I explained I’d leave her in the car during our trip but was told it was not allowed per ownership; I told the cashier I understood, thanked him for his time and turned around. Within 30 seconds of my other family in a 2nd car going through the gate, they counted three dogs running off leash in the orchard, two of which were within eyesight of the register. When I then approached the cashier about it, I was told that dogs are not allowed, those dogs must have been snuck in, and that he’d have to check it out. Ultimately, sneaking them in was conveyed as being the appropriate strategy over honesty. I don’t mind being turned away, but the rules should apply to everyone.
Nice place to visit with family and friends❤️

Spent 10 dollars on peaches at their stall at the troy farmers market on Saturday. the peaches weren't ripe yet so I left them on the counter. on Monday almost all of them had gone completely moldy. they still weren't even ripe. I'm so disappointed and frustrated at the money I've wasted.
This is a beautiful piece. You can pick up any fruits like apple, grape, strawberry, blueberry, cherry, tomato, cucumber etc . There people are very friendly and helpful.
great place with every possible fruit in the northeast. high quality with reasonable prices.
Great old fashioned ice cream
