They had really good refried beans other than that I found the food to be lackluster. The rice was bland..... the staff was very attentive and courteous so that's a plus but food wise, I could do better.

If you are visiting and looking for a resteraunt nearby, look no further.
As a Brooklyn local of over 5 years I thought I found the best burrito in NY but no. Armadillo's steak burrito was overwhelmingly good. The steak was of such high quality it could have been a meal of it's own! Best burrito I've ever had and I feel ashamed to say that Kingston has one over Brooklyn.
The staff is also very friendly. Omar was our waiter and helped guide us through the menu, as well as providing a friendly smile and welcomed company.

Place was horrible, but service was nice I guess, some dude was talking to me about "cholera" or something like that.
Chicken mole enchiladas, elote, and tacos al pastor were all delicious - as were the frozen margaritas (aren't they always). Issac the bartender created a friendly environment on a causal Saturday night. Always look forward to the complimentary chips & salsas. Thanks for a nice night!

Armadillo is a small family owned Tex-Mex style restaurant and the atmosphere has a friendly, warm, inviting colorful vibe. Terrific innovative Southwestern and modern Mexican cuisine specializing in grilled fish and fajita steaks among other classic entrees. Everything is made from scratch right down to the chips and salsas. The shrimp stuffed jalapenos are a must try and the margaritas are legendary.
